  1. Nice
  2. Excellent idea Art thanks for the help. By the way any recommendations on a resin caster that casts a 60 that's decently done and won't warp shortly after receiving it?
  3. Down 2 scale is an out of town club. However they do participate in our DSC show,
  4. The Tucson area has the TMAC and IPMS clubs there.
  5. Who produces a 60 shortbed F-100? I seen model roundup has one listed does the Modelhaus have one?
  6. Vallejo brand paint Has a bronze color in their paint line.
  7. CA glue is ok to use in my opinion. I would suggest the Gel type. The regular CA types are very Runny, and could lead you to unitended damage. The advantage of the gel type is it gives you a setup time, or small window to adjust. it is also gap filling which can become an advantage later on. I do not recommend CA glue for windshields or clear parts. Painting your tail lights before is what most modelers do, then attache with the epoxy, or craft glue such as Elmers white glue. When using epoxy it is critical to mix the correct amount ratio, then carefully apply to the desired part sparingly, wait a little to give it time to start to "Kick", or tack up, then move the part into position to avoid smearing.
  8. My issue with Clears of this type is measuring accurately the amounts of materials, in small increments, Does anyone have a suggestion for that they would share?
  9. This is starting to resemble the Gas Wars of the 70's, with Model sales at every corner.
  10. Some enterprising resin caster, could do those front end parts in Resin. I would buy a few sets, I have many of these trucks already, and would like to have some two wheel drive options.
  11. Sure wish the 78 chevy stepside would be re released.
  12. Some are forgetting to factor in the cost of using Paypal. Plus having to wait 7 days for funds.
  13. I have some kits, Mainly Revell that are destroying the wheels from the Tire's melting down, Chemically reacting in a negative way. Is there a way to stop this, or prevent this from happening, that has been found to be a success?
  14. There is a resin cast mustang from the new Revell LX based mustang from Greg Wann he post here, you can get info direct from him. Revell also kitted a mustang previously that has a hatch you might search for one of those.
  15. Current project
  16. I could have sworn the price is higher, than what is shown on the package above.
  17. After some research I did confirm these Are McCulloch engines. There is a very cool video on you tube, with Actor Don Knotts for the McCulloch engine, and the Dart cart.
  18. Yeah that would be Grand, and the Mini bike from the Blazer kits too
  19. They have a Small Micro Chop saw, that I use for cutting brass tube, channel, rod. Squarely and accurately at lighting speed. I just bought a welding cart for a good price but thats for a whole other hobby. There is a magnetic holder for the boxes of latex gloves if your into that. Non slip toolbox liner material in bulk rolls, Small metal turning lathe. diamond files. There is a ton of stuff there for the hobby, if you have been doing this awhile you may have most of it, Or not.
  20. What brand of engine's were used on the go cart model?
  21. Red Alert on the plug wires they appear too thick to be 1/25 scale
  22. She was a real Knockout!!!!
  23. Maybe its old outdated stock, just newly found in an abandoned train car somewhere.
