  1. Here is a link that should give you the information you are looking for. http://smcbofphx.proboards.com/index.cgi?
  2. Jeff I only said this because the front bumper has 1967 across the front. It does have some areas that are definately different than the AMT mustang kit that I have. which is the version showing a Black and red accented car on the front and sides.
  3. Marc I am using the 67 AMT kit, The one I have pictured is AMT. It is one, that I cut out the inner structure out of for another car and I am using this body for mock up purposes at the moment.
  4. I did buy this some time back. I liked it because it was a base model. which is what I am looking to build. I want to keep going with this one,The panel in the rear came out really good and I feel that if I can Massage the front a little bit I will feel better about my skills.Thank you for your Offer If I need assistance I will drop you a note
  5. I like the AMT grille better, Because it is a whole lot cleaner than the resin part. when it was cast part of the AMT kit was used on the outside(fender) That is evident when you look at it up close. However it appears like it was grafted with a promo piece for the headlight buckets, and grille. It is a bit Ragged, and I think it is too much work to fix it the way it is. I can cut and paste the Emblem and the bars from my resin part. The Intent of the Question Originally was asked Where do I make the Cuts to Resin and the AMT part to make them look Seamless. I dont want to build a GT version just a base mustang with the turn signals in the hood.
  6. I have one that I am working on I posted some pictures of it in the resin section here last nite. I have never had Modelhaus resin before, but have had some resin from F&F,Replicas in miniature, perrys, and jimmy flintstone. I would consider the Motor City stuff as really good quality and you could build a respectable model.
  7. There is a new hobby shop right across the street from Superstition springs mall, called Liberty Hobbies. nice people plenty of tools and kits at reasonable pricing. The Hobby lobby is at US 60 and Greenfield road but it's closed on sunday. but just a few miles west from there, is Hobby Town at Gilbert and Baseline road on the S/W corner.those are about the big three in the immediate area to you.
  8. I wish you a speedy and full recovery
  9. OOPS I forgot the link here it is. http://public.fotki.com/Gabriel12/tobys-mustang/031.html#mediat
  10. I have a series of pictures, I am looking for some information/guidance on the best way to graft or integrate, The donor kit piece to the resin body. somewhat like how the rear panel was done. I dont work with resin very much and any help would be appreciated.

  22. Welcome aboard Shay, If you have used tube glue you can use solvent[aka debonder] to help dissolve the glue joints. If you decide to completely strip them down and start over, I generally use a product called Castrol CRC. known on this board as the purple pond. It removes paint, chrome plating, and glue.
  23. How do you polish white metal in TIGHT really TIGHT areas?
  24. That is true if the Kids were getting high off of the glue Wal Mart would gladly supply them with all they want.
