Hi everyone, I am starting my 1/16 scale car. I know some of the cars of that time had black engines and maybe some aluminum. Does anyone know what color the engine block might be on this? Also should the chassis be a bare metal color, magnesium maybe? Any help on this kit would be great, George

Hi all, I just got the Monogram Miller Warrior funny car. I am going to build it and really need help on correct colors. Any help would be great !! Instructions say chassis is black. That doesn't seem right. Also,is the body a Candy red? Metallic? Any other color help?? Thanks,George

Hi all, my mom taught me in a '63 Plymouth Belvedere, light blue, with the push button transmission on the dash. The car was a bare bones, Slant 6, really no options,no air conditioning, no power anything. The only thing it had was an AM radio. From there, when I had driver's ed. the school had dodge coronet 440. After I passed Driver's Education, my mom and dad got me a '57 Chevy, turquoise body w/ white roof. It had a 265 and three on the tree that someone before me had made it 3 on the floor. Drove it all over Miami and Miami Beach. That is when I really learned to drive.

Hi all, this caddy sits about 3 houses from us. The lady lives in NY and comes down once a year. The car belongs to her husband, who she divorced years ago. I don't know the year,but,it has an inspection sticker on it. 06/93. Yes it has sat there for 28 years. I have asked her about it and she is to attached to it, or just wants to make a killing. She said it was worth 20K, maybe fully restored??

Hi all, I love this topic !! here is our queen,Jazzy. We got her about 2 years ago. We have a website called Nextdoor in our area. People can send messages,stories and items for sale or free. Someone about 1/2 mile from us posted that she had to find a new home for her. She was moving in with boyfriend and he is allergic to cats. We went over to see if she liked us. we hit it off right away and picked her up the next day. Saving her from the shelter. she is about 8 years old now,uses litterbox 100% of the time. She is inside only and sleeps with me at my chest. Once in a while she will sleep at my wife's feet. She does not like to be pickeed up,but when I am sitting in my flop chair,she will come and curl up next to me,usually on my arm. We are so lucky she adopted us!! One pic is of her as a kitten,sent by former owner.

Hi all, I just have to vent to someone. My wife and I are so upset with our neighbor next door. A little backstory ,his mother lived in the house for about 10 years before cancer hit her. My wife and her were good friends. when she got sick ,one of her sons moved from Long Island. She was very sick. when he got here,he moved her to a smaller bedroom and moved into her bedroom and bath. i overheard him say that he wished she would hurry up and die. He is very OCD with a perfect yard. He mows about 2 times a week and for the past month and a half he blows leaves.He has a backpack blower the has the loudest sound I have heard. He has been blowing 2 to 3 times a day,everry day. His yard has no trees and ours has a lot. He blows the leaves from his onto ours. I know the leaves come from our trees,but,most other people in our area just pick up whatever leaves are there. no matter whose they are. It is so loud and it goes on for hours a day,even into the night. He has also put drainage drains from his property onto ours, causing a lot of water to come on our property. We called and had county come out and they said unless it causes damage to house, there was nothing to be done. We have tried to talk to him, and, it is impossible, he just walks away with a beer in hand He is a drunk. He is about 47 years old and we are 67 and 68 years old. We don't have the money to use lawyers and court. Thanks for your time and sorry for the rant. George

Hi all, I am more than irked. I bought the new Grump's Vega on ebay,using the $25 coupon. So far so good. I have been tracking it. It said Sat morn."out for delivery.. I checked back about 6pm and it said delivery attempted-no access to delivery location. WHAT !! I live in a single family home on an asphalt road with driveway and sidewalk leading to front porch. I just think he wanted to start holiday . Our regular mail person took a leave of absence due to wife being pregnant. Ever since then service has been terrible. I spoke to postmaster before and it continues. ??
