  2. Come down to sunny Florida....look at the "memorials" on the side of our flat straight roads.....I never saw soooo many rollovers anywhere!
  3. Hows this lookin now???
  4. Had good luck today....Used a silver base over my grey primer and reshot Inca Gold and some clear to shrink flake size down!! will get new pix in the daytime.....
  5. They learn to drive in snow and ice! MPD used to have chains available for the squads.... its also easier to power slide a rear drive in snow
  6. The tamiya will cover grey filler/sealer in 2 or 3 mist coats....t235 thinned correctly is uneven after 4 mist coats. I guess I'l shoot a linen white base after primer as it does work.
  7. Kool .....you don't like "the blues"
  8. Great job on a fun kit!! when its done we can go out by the farm and run......... notice the hood......it started out body color..........looks good in black!
  9. Great look ...but unless you are moving the steering column and wheel I think your gonna have an issue with the fire bottle location and I assume the door would "open/close" in 1:1..... I think that might set that sucker off!!!!
  10. Much tougher, easier to machine , much longer to dry.
  11. On a 1:1 paint project blocking using a longboard is how you get those smooth panels(lotsa lotsa!!!) On a model you just do not have those big panels ,and foam pads with lotsa soapwater will float and follow the shape better.although I do block my door lines with a shortened sanding stick...sorta like a longboard. That said I do tape my edges as not to burn thru..and it does take a fair amount of learning...but it makes me a better painter and I am always looking at every technique...even enamels!!!(yes Donn!!) I use these...they work great, and cost per unit is good, and you can cut them to fit anywhere. Box size is way too large for one builder, so get together with 4 or 5 buddies, club members or whoever and hook each other up! http://www.summitracing.com/search/?keywor...touch&dds=1
  12. I loved running them down with my Datsun 1200...........and then hit the bottle

  17. Nick......Either a Sport or a Sissy......Stick to sport
  18. poor coverage...3 to 5 mist coats w/airbrush...same technique with grey and great coverage!
  19. These work well as they are sanding sticks not files.....try em!!
  20. What is the trick to get full coverage using white primer...I have both plastikote t235 and duplacolor white filler. I love Tamiya fine white but at $$ ain't gonna happen! I have the same issues decanted or rattlecan I don't have any issues with the grey fillers or sealers...just white!! as my '56 soaks in DOT3 I'l be ready soon!!
  21. Over the top.....I think it could use BIGGER rear tires
