I would block it so it is square...read kennys buildup starting at the top of page 2...and Raul helps Kenny do it in detail!!!!

I spray a thin coat of clear after my base and when I do my tape off I mist more clear on the edge... sprayed off tape. the second color is also sprayed off tape...if you blend your color to the edge there should be no ridge...if needed a quick rub with a 8000 pad and then 3 or 4 coats of clear should come out smooth "off tape" means sprayed off the taped edge rather than sprayed into the taped edge!! I use a dehydrator it saves that week!!!

Badger or paasche...great parts availability...great quality! As with any tool the, the fit & feel in your hand is the single most important factor in how you will use that tool. If it does not grow in your grip...try some others....the new Grex looks killer and Iwata makes a great product.... I use a badger 200 and 155....love them both!!

Hey Brent..... When it comes to model painting you have 3 food groups to choose from. Acrylics, Enamels, and Lacquers. (not latex or oil) the difference is the (carrier)stuff that needs to dry out. Acrylics use water as the base...dry quick and work well. Enamels use a slow dry solvent base....(don't go there) And lacquers have a fast dry solvent base, stink like all getout,and IMHO are the way to go. All the colors you mentioned are also in lacquer. Now if lonewolf15....aka Donn Yost tells you to shoot enamels with lacquer thinner....Yup he is correct....what the bottom line about paint is that we all have our own ideas about what works.....so you gotta figgure out what you like to do...Then just DO it!!!! http://www.oldmansmodels.com/

I dunno....it don't like me and the firewall fit is awful...but it will be dun!! and it should go inna purple pond...cause t235 white plastikote primer is thicker than mud..I normally use duplacolor linen white as a base under light colors just look at the defroster vents....frozen?????

My first thoughts are two names you need to know. Bob Downie and Donn Yost. (I put them alphabetically). Bob (Zoom Zoom) has written 2 airbrush books and Donn (Old Man/Lonewolf) has a DVD out, both are made for us modelers. The best bargains out there and you can't go wrong...try them Bobs is published by Kalmbach...get it from them or your LHS Heres Donns: http://www.oldmansmodels.com/ I've never met either of these guys yet...so I'm not a paid schill... although they are both welcome in my shop!!
