Mike..I find that mixing metalizers can be a lot of fun. As they are lacquers they mix well and if not over thinned spray fantastic! I find that a couple of drops of magnesium, or alum plate work well...just play around! On this one it was the blower that was a brass mix..I did the carbs with the interior color for contrast

That is my choice....

One other way is to graft a late model front and rear clip to your old frame....this one uses a late C6 vette as a donor.

A trick 1:1 guys use is tape the edge and polish the other side and when done retape and do the other side.
