Good Enamel.....sorta like military intelligence.......certain words just don't go together!!!!
If you want a Paint that POPS HOK Tangelo pearl is a great lacquer choice.Boyd's and Kustom Kolor both made an orange pearl.
If you must do enamel then Testors Competition Orange is bright , but not a pearl. Jacquard does make pearl powders and I mix them in clear and apply over the color coats,and under the top clear.
These show your colors...The panel is Testors(dried in 6 weeks) the camaro is Tangelo with extra yellow and gold pearl flake
As far as the old paint on top of each other...The rule is Lacquer, Enamel, Acrylic with the base as lacquer
That said I've painted and cleared with lacquers over enamel and acrylics...yes there is a trick you can learn!!
the yellow on this is Tamiya acrylic with Duplacolor lacquer ......not a wrinkle anywhere!
