Dennis is a great guy and will cover your needs!
Wow.....I guess that Revell was dumb and produced models that no one wanted!....OK I might be a little sarcastic about this but lets look at facts. The chopped '49 Merc.....Knockout seller. Black Widow'57.......Knockout seller. '32 Ford sedan(now 5 window)....yup a Knockout!
Why ?? because the MARKET said so. I really love trucks too....Most of last years builds for me were TRUCKS !! As far as new cars , check out the Mustangs...Challengers....and Z cars.....and yes I did buy 4 of the '49 Merc kits(I'm old) I haven't gotten the '57 though.
What most of us do not know about "them" is that Tom Lowe is one of us.....search his name and see what he has done and is doing for us and rather than piss and moan about what is not been made try BUYING what you like and then marketing will make more.
To get back on topic Yep there are lots of great truck kits out there!!!
Yo grandaddie Georgie.....the good news is we can sleep in on Friday this week (doesn't mean it will happen)
The Bad news is now we gotta wait till Monday for our ROM!!!!!!!!5 DAYS HARRY no ROM!!!!!!!!!!
ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Sure can Oscar....one small question....What kind of finish is on the model...Lacquer, enamel, acyylic, concrete tint????
You CAN always use future over these without trouble. Give us more info!
Marty use photobucket....its not wasted time. to transfer 18 pix to photobucket at 54k it should take no more than 90 seconds.
Then use the image line and post. I routinely shoot large photos...they will resize!
this one is 1024x768
Its free and easy....I do not know any other way to post that many pix here......
I agree with Tommy and his bug.
I would suggest that it will be easier to shoot a silver base tape off using tamiya tape clear the edges and then spray your body color, quick dry and peel your tape then shoot your clear and set it aside.
An old painters rule of thumb is always shoot the darkest color last...as I shoot tutones and tri colors I have to say that I agree.
Yikes a granpa x2!!!!!!
youse is much , much , much older than I
But Don't forget to kidpruf the sharp and smelly stuff..you dont wan't him cut up!!!!!!!
Congrats and we would like to see a picture or two
BUT DON'T MAKE JOY POST EM......C'Mon grandaddio you can DO IT!!!!!!!!
OK when you drop a 427 into a light car your gonna need some Bigs....as in brakes and rubber.
A Baldwin Motion '69 Camaro 4 speed low altitude flyer...Throw some HOK pearls on with some extra flake...just to make it POP!
Of course a set of Big n Little Pegasis T's with disks will keep it stuck to the ground.
Stippling????? HUH???? I think you were cleaning your airbrush and pointed it the wrong way!!!!
I can't wait to see where your going with this one.........OLE'
Assuming you want a factory look....I build customs...so that means NO OVERSPRAY anywhere!!!
also if you lived in the 70's Ziebart and Rusty Jones were household names....satin black bottoms rule!!!
1 you may want to section it...take your cut from the middle..when you say level with the body are you talking about lining up level with the cowl?
2 get some index cards and make your floor...then you cut plastic once!
