  1. Drool Brother.....you will have fun!!! I built this Artwork by Jairus Watson for the JWAC.....this is the drawing.... Heres what I finished with...
  2. Simply cut out the centers and leave the outside ring. As far as wiring a dimmer....IF YOURS HAS A FAN IT WON'T WORK Mine was a convection type, thermometer in the top (2 for 9.995 at Sams Club) I dim it down for 105 and marked the setting, Works like a charm.....for resin I dial it down to 95
  3. If you like Donn Yosts Paint tech with enamels...this will make a big difference. I shoot lacquers and a couple of hours at 105....its ready for tape and more colors
  4. Got the order....great stuff and service!!!
  5. Works the same on steel roofs....its all Crankys fault!!! B)

  7. I love the Portholes!!!
  8. Heres another view....
  9. I found that out...it looks so nice now, I don't want to "fix"it!!!
  10. I did a 23 T bucket....darn good kit....the interior was a bit funky...but the motor is wired, the headers blued...the wheels and tires are the best part of it..I did use a 50% off Michaels coupon.
  11. I am in that boat also....However the lowrider community has been doing the panel, lace, and multi color paint jobs for 30 plus years. I am amazed at the time , thought and effort that these jobs represent! And Tonio is way too modest....I have seen many of his works 1:1 and pictures will not do justice to his work!!
  12. I tried But Tonio hid the wheels....they were under the stairs......I think I will have to stop at Gerrys!!!
  13. I'm going a bit different...Badger 155.....shoots everything....from mud to lacquers....it is a siphon feed , but comes with a non covered cup. I have a couple of others....Gravity feed is not needed for most modeling needs.....its for fine details.
  14. I may do some 1/2 round gutters...not sure yet!
  15. Try this site...... http://googleitfor.me/
  16. Edit the wind noise out and you have a winner from the bucket!
  17. Somebody distract Tonio I need more wheels..........
  18. Thanks Virgil....You are my weathering inspiration.....I'm just getting ready to weather the structure....and some of my "Goodies"
  19. I am going back to stamps.......SWEET!!!!
  20. I agree with Rick....WOWSER!!!! But in FL..no front plates!
  21. The pictures do not do it justice......Norbie Lives!!!
  22. I tried....no cash.....but I did get some metal roofing.... OK after a month of screwing around, saving a few pennies here and there...I've got goodies coming, so time to get the structure weathered. I'm using Doc Cranky's salt, baking powder , and liquid mask to finish things up. The wood has been textured with the side of my Zona blade, following the grain. The roofing is "G" scale metal ribbed roofing...the "tin" side roof is a different scale by design..but I think it will work well. After the weathering on the ends was done I taped them and the fascia off and sprayed contact cement onto the wood sheathing and set the panels in place....the under edges were pre painted Tamiya TS 17 and the roof was finished with a blend of aluminum and metalizers....then roughed up.Right now I am letting the glue on the Ridge dry before I wash everything with some India Ink. Once all dry I will post the latest round of pictures! This weathering is going slow but steady due to what I am trying to do!
