  5. I think the list of judges makes this real!!! THE JUDGES: David Carl Peters, automotive artist and acclaimed model car builder who produced exacting replicas of real drag racing cars for their owners and drivers; Roy Sorenson, publisher/editor of Model Car Builder magazine; Dr. Marc Weller, M.D., longtime contributor to Scale Auto magazine & an avid hot rodder; Drew Hiewarter, Scale Auto columnist & model making authority; Jason R. Sakurai, a longtime modeler & former editor of Scale Modeler magazine; and Stacey David, host/executive producer of Stacey David’s GearZ on Speed Channel, and a builder of hot rods and model cars (“Panelâ€).

  16. I finished up the foiling.....wow that took most of the day!! did make some progressive throttle linkage for those deuces!! looks like final paint detail, decals and chrome next....
  17. Looks great! The texture is unique!! I got a similar idea from DamnCranky.....I used paper, white glue, and dullcote. I learned to google image for a pattern, sized it and made enough to fill an 81/2 x 11 inkjet sheet. Printed it out and when dry sprayed it with dullcote. Then I transfered my masking tape patterns to the printed sheet, cut and glued (mix elmers white and water 50/50 ) dip sheet into bowl of gluewater , lay onto area and with Q tips, tweezers, and toothpicks push , prod and adjust to fit.....an electric blow dryer can also be used.... Also works on headliners and doors ...my first try......:
  18. Don't let Harry see this one...it will end up as a ROM!! B)
  19. With the Gold, Either the Green or the Red will look great IMHO. That said I did a Cameo a while back , not 50's, 60's or even 70's style. So try the Green Pearl...this is what I ended up with...:
