The paint looks great Tim, not too shabby at all for someone who's just getting back into the hobby! As far as curing times for the paint, it all depends on what kind of paint you used. Testors paints usually take a week or longer to fully cure, Tamiya is about a week maximum, Automotive paints are anywhere from a day (urethanes) to 3 days (Lacquers). Let us know what the brand of paint was and we can nail it down a bit better!

Michael, I've been watching since day one, and I love what you've done with this old A-100! Stick to your build, and don't let anyone else push you to do something, it's your vision, not theirs! I've been using the Pegasus Disc Brakes for years, they are the best bang for your buck when it comes to adding details to a set of rims! I always strip 'em and paint them Metalizer Stainless Steel...but I also get stupid and drill all of the holes out! A real PITA, but it does end up looking really good!

Simply unreal John, quite a few of the pictures could be passed off as the real thing! So what's the next work of art going to be?

Bingo William, you absolutely nailed it with this statement! I have an IPMS club (Almost 100% Military builders) nearby that asked me years ago to attend their annual contests, because they had no car modelers showing up. There's still a small amount that show, but it's growing every year, so it's working. The only thing I haven't built yet is a weathered model or a big rig. Every year I bring Tuners, Muscle, Customs, Classics, Euro Sports cars, whatever I've built, just to show that it's all welcome! We, as automotive builders, are a very small minority in the modeling world, and cannot afford to turn someone away because they don't build what we build. If it has four wheels and a motor, it's good enough for me!

The mock-up looks great Ken, and the TRX rims really do look right on it! The hood looks like it was molded that way, great job man!
