  1. That's what I thought, but I spotted some with '55 trim. So the Revell Black Widow would not work.
  2. Well done Jim. The paint looks great.
  3. I'm seeing two different side trims when I do a Google search for 210's. The top of the rear fender speaps are shorter, but that is easily fixed. A pic of your dads 1:1 would really help us help you.
  4. Try some sanding sticks from your local beauty supply store. Sand slowly and carefully.
  5. A good gap filling CA glue (superglue) is yer best pal. A set of needle files. Sanding sticks from your local beauty supply store. Look around at your local Harbor Freight for tools and clanps and stuff, your local Dollar Store for plastic containers and ziplocks and stuff.
  6. Yeah, I'm in Tampa and we got hit hard. A tornado dropped down in my parents backyard, erased their back porch in an eyeblink and then destroyed a 40' chinaberry tree. Then it skipped two blocks and then turned the neighborhood park into a disaster area. Lots of flooding here.
  7. Ack!! Oh man get rid the tube glues. I swear by CA glues even on painted parts. Zap-a-gap and the generic knock offs are the way to go.
  8. What sort of glue are you using Lorenzo?
  9. Looking good!
  10. Very cool! Well done.

That just might be a little bit brilliant. I love the originality and the chaos of it all. I dig it.
  12. Agreed. However it really is a great looking model. Well done.
  13. Yep sure is. It was a lot of fun. I did it for the original Cannonball CBP on the SA forums. There's more pics in my album. Finished pics on page 3 of the main album and the WIP is in the Captain Chaos Special sub-album.
  14. That looks awesome. Love the matte decals.
  15. Sorry missed that.
  16. Chuck I love it so far. As for the bed..........................how about a sleeper cab? Maybe mount the gas tank to the rear bunkhead?
  17. There is a diecast that looks pretty good and could be useful modifying a Galaxie kit if they ever make one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Testors-1941-Chevy-Coupe-Scale-1-24-Diecast-Factory-Sealed-/290733496841?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item43b1111a09
  18. Hmm.... did you modify the rear because it doesn't look anything like the rear on my kit. Was there more than one kit?
  19. Any truck kit is going to require modification to get the ride height you want. How much modeling experience do you have? Check out Pegasus Hobbies for your wheels and tires. http://pegasushobbies.net/catalog/Peg.-Model-Car-Acc.-Rims-&-Tires/c3_25/index.html
  20. Thanks guys. I've been thinking about this for a while, but its awfully far down my build list.
  21. Bloody wonderful. The white tire is a terrific detail.
  22. Very cool work. I'll be watching.
  23. Ditto. I really dislike outlaw hoods in any case, but certainly here. Lets see the stock hood painted up.
  24. Ah I understand now. I was unaware if the other kit completely. No worries.
  25. I also compared the body side by side with the Monogram 1/24 Badman Chevy. They sure look the same size to me.
