  1. Well considering the Revell IMSA Monza kit and the IMSA Mustang kit released about the same time share an interior cup/chassis/power plant despite one being GM and the other Ford, it says a lot about the quality of the kit. Doing it curbside is a perfectly understandable solution. Looking forward to seeing it done.
  2. That is a seriously good looking model. Usually when someone lists the mods or add ons on a build I'm like, "yeah, yeah, I can see the changes." But I'll bet a good portion of us here wouldn't be the wiser if you said it was box stock, so thanks for pointing out the good stuff. All your mods look very realistic and the paint looks great. Well done.
  3. Is that a blower manifold? Looks like you are gonna plop that blower right down on the stock manifold.
  4. I've kitbashed this Monza kit and added a moded nascar chassis to fit. It turned out great. This body is very cool despite the rest of the kit.
  5. This looks like a very sturdy unit. After seeing the filters, I think I can make a AC filter work later on. I'm very pleased. When we move and I get my workshop set up, I'll post up some pics.
  6. Sorry guys, the blue is just too pale to show in pics.
  7. With the flourescent lighting in the kitchen the blue didn't show up in the pics, its too pale. Sorry.
  8. How about this one?
  9. I figure that speaks for itself. Fantastic work!
  10. Fantastic work! I can't see a single flaw in it anywhere!
  11. So I come home from work tonight and there's my wife making my birthday cake. It's in the shape of a muscle car. Shes into cake decorating and has learned a lot from that Ace of Cakes fella. When I came in she had just finished using her decorating airbrush that I bought for her birthday (nice little unit btw) to "paint" my cake blue using food coloring. I enter the room and immediately start complimenting her on the work and then something unusual catches my eye. I say to her, "You aren't concerned about overspray?" She says, "I'm cleaning the kitchen tomorrow so I hadn't given it much thought, why?" I point down at my pal Zuzu, our white shepherd who is a constant fixture on the kitchen floor. She just about falls out of her chair laughing when she sees that he is now the cutest shade of baby blue.
  12. It's a very dated kit by todays standards, but heck, how many four doors with optional station wagon roof and many custom parts do you really find these days?
  13. Maybe open it up to all inlines and you might see more interest.
  14. Okay I got some time to some building today. More work on the skins for my ATRV. BTW gang, if you have friends that build and play Warhammer of other similar table top games, you might want to raid their parts bins.
  15. Is this going to be a steampunk-esque mono-wheel, like the one in the new Men in Black film?
  16. I'd say you nailed it Jim. Well done.
  17. So far so good. Keep at it.
  18. Are you gonna make us guess or are you gonna tell us what you used?
  19. I kit bashed the heck out one of these pretty recently. All in all I was very impressed with everything I used.
  20. On the second one, the one you modified, why didn't you re-paint the whole thing?
  21. Originality counts people! David, I like this a lot!
  22. I've seen this kit build about a zillion ways, EXCEPT box stock. It looks great. A wonder more folks don't do it.
  23. Antonio, I've seen that build before. A stunning paint job. You need to finish it!
