  1. According to the box I have, the Revell Streetburner Chevelle is 1/24.
  2. I have seen a 1:1 '34 that looks very much like this one, using the copper colors. Whether that was your inspiration or not, you did a fantastic job with this. A perfect traditional rod.
  3. How about a close up of the front and rear so we can get a real idea of those excellent mods.
  4. One thing I like about this kit is the dual quad big block. I have a 1/24 gasser project in the planning stages, that this BBC will be perfect for. The rest of the kit has been parted out.
  5. Hmm..............I've just surprised myself by only counting six WIP models. There are a couple others where I've glued some a part or two together, but those models could be off in another direction in a second design-wise so they don't count much. '49 Merc - Jolly Roger F-Bomb inspired '79 Camaro '53 Stude Panamericana racer '49 Ford hot rod Custom Batmobile and my scratchbuild WW3 scout vehicle.
  6. http://vodpod.com/watch/15869418-lazareth-wazuma-v12 Too wicked. Okay, whos gonna build one in scale?
  7. Well enough he says..... that's a pretty crisp parting line Mark, if I do say so myself. Fantastic work.
  8. I'm right there with ya Harry. Aside from that the only things I get nostalgic about is my teenage sons back when they were small, easy and said "Yes Daddy." The price of gasoline, and the days when I had a 32" waistline, and could do a 65 mile ride on my Trek touring bike and still party that night.
  9. Yep someone with a lot of talent scratched / kitbashed / modified their way through those. And yeah, it looks like a 10.5 outlaw class to me.
  10. No problem. I'm happy you were able to take my comment in the spirit it was intended. Keep on junkin'!
  11. I use good ol fashioned Elmers white glue for my clear parts. Would the water effect the white glue?
  12. Hmm.........I don't know about this one Chuck. Unlike the green rod (Corvair?) the Nova just doesn't have a lot of shape in this configuration because it looks too boxy. I can only barely recognize the original body.
  13. Oh I like that. Kinda looks like a buckboard wagon. very cool.
  14. Also the Beer Truck show car is chain drive at the rear wheels.
  15. This looks great Kevin. We don't see you round these parts much anymore, how ya been?
  16. Yep, the newest pics look the best. Good work.
  17. A call to a publisher might be the way to go.
  18. Lane, I highly recommend stripping that old yellow paint before you go much further with this. Looks interesting so far.
  19. Whoa.............very cool. I'll be watching this.
  20. Brian, I've recently built a flat bed '34 using an original AMT kit. The bed was a lot of fun to do. I used balsa and basswoood. Here is the build thread if you'd like to see how I did it. http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g73/Jantrix/Shop%20truck/
  21. Why not challenge yourself and step out of your comfort zone? I mean you have the skills, but I know what your build will look like before even open the thread. No surprises. No offense intended, just curious.
  22. Very interesting subject. Well done.
  23. Manny what else do you do besides junkers?
