  1. A quick snap tite build...a great slump buster. Went Trad with it. I custom mixed the color and blew it on with my old Paasche Not perfect but to a little better than this suggestion, at least to me anyway, LOL Comments always welcome!
  2. It's the companion piece to this one. Both featured on "My Classic Car" a few years ago. The both run and drive,
  3. Very sharp Fox body build. Great stance and colors. I think it is a Mercury Capri though, at least the rear quarters and front fenders are anyway. Well done!
  4. A GMP Michigan State Police die cast I converted to replicate a friends 1:1 '91 SSP Mustang.
  5. Great to see these builds. Amazing what Wendell accomplished with the equipment he had to work with. Well done!
  6. Real nice, The "just enough" weathering really does it. Well done.
  7. Agreed. I have an unbuilt original with dull chrome. Sure would like a new one!
  8. Sharp SVO. Great engine detail and those head lights are brilliant!
  9. Welcome Richie. Another ex Islander here. I grew up in Centereach, born in Port Jeff.
  10. Very nicely done. Brilliant idea there for the baby moons!
  11. Real sharp P 71...must be a blast to drive. You can find NYSP decals in this early issue AMT Taurus Police Car kit. I think the first issue Taurus SHO had them too.
  12. I retired about 2 years ago after 35 years with a large company, basically forced out due to new local management and corporate politics but I got a full pension w/insurance so I can't complain too much. As far as modeling it's about the same, seems like I'm busier now with other outside stuff and "honey do's" than I was when "on the clock"! There's always something to do. Good interesting thread. Thanks!
  13. Yep some serious hot roddin' going on in that shop. This Ford coupe is cool too...
  14. Add another vote for the Paasche H . I've been using mine for some 20 odd years and would not be without one. Dependable. reliable, simple and easy to clean with always good predictable results. A good solid tool.
  15. LOL. Call it "Artistic License". I just thought it looked better with it there. Thanks for the good words!
