  12. Great looking build, tough time believing it is a model, looks just like the real thing.
  13. Very nice period piece. Takes me back to the days of wide ovals, cragars and a jacked up rear end. Those were some good o' days.
  14. Has anyone here scratched a tranny blanket? Could you post a photo and give me tips for making one. Thanks ahead of time.

  17. Now that is Modeling. Great thought even better execution.
  18. The bigger Hobby Towns carry these sheets with their Plustruc/Evergreen assortments. Have heard guys using folder covers from Staples. Haven't used the last but sounds like an option.
  19. Welcome Brian, once you get to building again you might want to check out the model club of which I am a member. Louisville Model Car Club, small group but really good modelers. Hope you enjoy the hobby.
  20. I can barely remember Tim doing some articles on engines. They were coverage of the "best Ford", "best Pontiac", etc. Could anyone give me some guidance as to when and where they appeared? Thanks.
  21. Will the newly released Reher-Morrison pro stock work with the Slixx Grumpy's decals? the kit is 1/24 but the decals say they are for 1/25 scale. Does anyone have any experience making this build? Thanks ahead of time
  22. Can you guys recommend a Olds rear end to be used in gasser projects? Can be kit sourced or even better aftermarket resin cast. Thanks for any suggestions.
  23. What a great platform for a gasser? That's why modeling is soooooo much more fun the 1:1 building. The purists would have a fit.
