Goodwrench C5-R prepaint

Thank you Mr Ross! His was, I believe, the first issue of this kit. Was in a blu box with a clear window. The body was prepainted in the silver and black, with a few of the markings printed on. I did some detail painting on the body, then painted the interior and engine, which are hardly visible with the body on. Had found a buildup where the guy carried the black and silver onto the front splitter. Went back and looked thru pics of the real car and saw this was accurate so did that to mine. Here is a picture of one I snagged off ebay. -
So, so cool!

Had picked up this Pontiac along the way, couldnt come up with what to do with it. Then a friend sent me several copies of the old JNJ Kroger decals. Struggled to find pics of the car, so just got to building. Had really wanted to use the Pepsi hood decal, but it was too big for the hood. As in, parts of the decal would have been on front fenders too big. This was also my first time using a vintage tire stencil from Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland. Need to take some better pics. A good friend of mine sent me a PONTIAC decal for the nose which is now installed.

Stunning build, wel done!

Just got started good on this one. Paint is MCW, have an older set of Cady decals. Was very happy with paintwork until I unmasked the hood. For some unlown reason I pulled tape toward the yellow and lifted one spot. Have attempted a repair, not sure how good it is.

One of my oldest surviving builds. Original MPC (Fundamensions) kit I did not too long after it was released. Once I got started into glue kits it came back apart and I did some interior detailing. After a while it ended up in the parts box where it languished for years. Couple of years ago I found the majority of it, and decided to put it back on the shelf. Picked up a current reissue to replace some broken and missing parts, and to replace some worn out chrome pieces. Just cleaned and polished the bare plastic body, saving original decals as well.

Classic Monogram curbside kit, originally created as a hardbody slot car. Had started it years back, and right after priming the body left it sitting too close to a clamp on work light. Had enough radiant heat that the rear deck warped and tire humps melted down. Took a while, but finally got another one. Cut out the sides of interior tub to resemble actual car. Added PE + masking tape seat belts. Could not find a PE shifter gate, so crudely drew one on with a Sharpie. Worked on the dash to attempt to get steering wheel more centered. Aluminum tube exhaust pipes. And added wire wheels n tires from Ferdinand Pinto of Spain. They are incredible! Thanks for checking it out!
