  1. Thats just awesome.
  2. I love WRC. I almost never see it on the TV here in PA. Its a real shame about loosing Colin this year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p797oSbV3to
  3. Thats just sick. Really some engineering involved in that build.
  4. I saw posted that he was going to be working on hopefully getting things up and running my the end of the weekend.
  5. Looks like a very nice kit. I will be keeping an eye out for this one.
  6. Thanks much for the reply. I painted the car with Model Masters Light Toreador Red Metallic lacquer along with Black lacquer covered with Ultra Gloss Clearcoat. I used green 3m automotive painting tape. The black ran into the red and needed alot of work to get her the way I wanted her. Next time I will paint the car color, mask off, spray the body color over the tape, and then paint my stripe. That would help with the running. I do not have many spare parts since i just got back into this, but will be running the stock motor with all of the detailing and wiring. The wheels are out of the AMT Rides 66 Nova. I will be using bigs and skinnies on that car so I just took those.
  7. After doing some reading and commenting on some of the projects others have going on, I thought I would post one myself. Its been about 15 years since I have worked on a model so bear with me. I started a 04 GTO and this 61 Ranchero at the same time and will be posting pics of the GTO in the near future. I have gone just about as far as I can until I get my detail stuff in the mail from TowerHobby.com. I am looking to take this to my first show on Nov. 4th and then to my first meet with a local club in my area on Nov. 11. Any comments are welcome.
  8. Looks pretty good to me for "throwing it together with spare parts". Keep up the good work.
  9. Model The brick drive is a dead give away IMO.
  10. Great build on one of my favorite muscle cars. My father had a 69 Eliminator in yellow and black when I was growing up. I cant wait to get get started on a model project for it.
  11. Welcome Brian. Looking forward to seeing some of your builds.
  12. http://www.danmodeltruckworld.com/shop/ind...amp;cPath=98_29 LOL, thats what i'm looking at too
  13. Welcome I can't figure out whether I like the truck ford or chevy better. Simply amazing work and looking forward to seeing some more.
  14. Nice work and i'm sure the kiddies will love it. We just worked on a few of our pumpkins, but nothing quite like that.
  15. Nice work. Looks like some great fit and finish, especially on the trim.
  16. Great theme build. Very nice attention to detail.
  17. Thanks Steve, I was wondering about "curbside" the other day.
  18. Great build. I am generally not a huge fan of the "porno red" 80's color interior, but I have found that Corvettes just pull it off new or classic. lol, 80's fbodys and foxbody mustangs are a different story. Any engine shots hiding anywhere?
  19. I think its great to see young people involved in this hobby. Although I am on the young side (26), I learned from my father. Those memories are some of my fondest between us. I don' think alot of young people have that strong relationship created by sharing a hobby like modeling. Great pics.
  20. Very nice work on the stang. I like a little tuner style added to most of the domestics. Great choice on wheels as well.
  21. Great build Chris. Thanks for the links on fotki. I found your page from this forum, but will be looking into the other as well. Keep up the good work.
  22. Top notch modeling. I love what you have done with the 61 Ranchero. I will be building mine next.
  23. lol, I like the little sign in the top of the second pic. Nice work
  24. I've got to agree on the egg build I love the twin turbo LS1 in the goat, just my style.
