  1. Welcome. I am back into it again just like yourself, seems like a common thing in this hobby. Good luck building.
  2. I really hope to see a few on ebay. I would love to try a build on one of these. I haven't bee here long and don't know of Ron, but it is really a rare site to see a company do something like that.
  3. Great start Ron. I'm liking the 49 without the skirts in your case.
  4. I will be attending. Don't think I will have anything ready to judge, but will be looking forward to see what western PA has to offer. Can you help us out with an address, or should we call Brian on that?
  5. I thought so! Great job Walt.
  6. Great pics guys. I'm sure they had a tough time with the judging, especially with all the willys.
  7. I love the Beetle you have built. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished build on that one someday.
  8. Welcome. Great build and looks like a really beautiful paint job.
  9. I'm gonna feel stupid at the store buying the Donk Regal, but I will be trying to build a turbo T without a doubt. Great information guys.
  10. Good information guys. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
  11. I'm looking forward to the 69 Nova as well. When it hits the shelves I would love to do a "blue hair" sleeper version based off the MuscleCar TV project. I love Nova sleepers
  12. The question I have on this subject is, can you mix and match 1/24 and 1/25 scale engines in your builds without problems?
  13. Great custom work so far. I have a bias opinion on the wheel choice because I love tuner wheels on alot of domestics. I would choose the last bronze wheel. In that case it really depends on the body color.
  14. I also scored a few at biglots. One each of the 61 Ranchero, 05 300C, and A 04 GTO. Also picked up an AMT 66 Nova SS (one of my personal favorite cars). I started on the GTO with a little assembly and painting today.
  15. Its sure is a small world. Do you happen to know Billy and Ryan Meyers? Billy graduated last year and was big into baseball. They are my cousins. That school was going down hill when I graduated in 99.
  16. Thanks for the welcome guys. I am working on my bench space at the moment and picked up 4 kits over the past couple days along with a few supplies. I can't wait to get started.
  17. Simply amazing build.
  18. That is a great idea. I will try that on a future project. Any pictures from the back on this one?
  19. Maybe its just me, but the rear tire looks like a 1:1 wrinkle wall drag tire with low air pressure ready to run down the track. Great looking car.
  20. Great work on that engine bay. Really looks top notch and has an enormous amount of detail. Great job.
  21. Great finds. I'm shocked at how well they have held up over the years.
  22. You might be shocked, but I grew in in Elizabeth in my young years and then moved out to Forward Twp. I went to EF all my years. My parents still live on River Hill, and I still make it down as much as I can. I currently live up Rt 28 near Sarver, PA (about 20 minutes from town). Its great to see a local on here!
  23. From a classic GP to a new one. My current dd / track beater Old toy car
  24. The louvers look right at home. Amazing work and looking forward to see the finished product.
