  3. I can't moan about the delivery, I had them 5 days after paying for them, I really couldn't find many police decals on eBay that were for the older Caprice
  4. It's getting close, just need to mask up the windows to airbrush the black rubber seals, front & rear bumpers and a few chrome parts and bumpers, then she will be finished ....
  5. Jim Heller from the Miniature racing centre in Virginia, they have an eBay site ...
  6. Rear lights and rear number plate backing plate fitted, lights were airbrushed using Tamiya clear red and orange acrylics
  7. Very nice build, I like that a lot .....
  8. Welcome aboard .... I usually get all my AMT and Revell-Monogram kits from Burbank house of Hobbies in the U.S, even with the shipping they work out cheaper than buying in the U.K and if you only buy 1 or 2 kits, they seem to get through without any import duty, plus he uses good strong cardboard boxes that don't get messed up in the postal system, a lot of U.K sellers think it's fine to just wrap the model box in bubble wrap and send it through the post like that ..... http://www.houseofhobbies.com/
  9. Decals arrived this morning, not sure who makes the Dallas Police decals, but they look 1st class quality ....
  10. Another eBay win, hopefully it's a nice kit to build ....
  11. I think we've spoke about this before, I've even got in touch with Revell AG about it, the emails I've got from them would make you laugh ..... But I bought there new (or so I thought at the time) the box shows a '68 Charger with a vinyl roof, but in reality you just got the same body as supplied in the Revell/Monogram version, with no vinyl roof Box art :- What's actually in the box :-
  12. Had a few deliveries today, the two Caprice kits were bought off eBay, all the Tamiya stuff I got in a half price sale ....I've also ordered a Revell '69 Dodge Charger bodyshell on it's way from Newts Boneyard, now I can build my next '68 Charger with a vinyl roof.
  13. Very nice build ....

  18. Just bought these off eBay for the Revell Caprice's I have coming, anyone know what the interior colour of the vehicles would have been ??
  19. Well I really shouldn't order items online when I'm a little tired, and my German isn't as good as I thought it was, well I did stop working for VW back in 1994, turned out I'd ordered 2 tins of the champagne, which came a few days ago, so I had no choice but to put in another order, luckily I wasn't tired and made sure all was correct before hitting the order button, as the shipping was the same for two cans as it would have been for one, I ordered on in Capri Green and a can of Glacier blue I've probably got enough paint to paint a full size Trabant now .....
