  1. Looking good, your paint should be in the post to the you on Friday ....
  2. Shame your not in the U.K, as I have plenty of the original BMC Surf Blue paint in stock, infact apart from Island Blue I have every colour in stock for the Coopers, I could try to send you a small bottle of it and see if it gets through the postal system .... For the Powder blue seats, I used Windsor & Newton Powder blue acrylic artists paint mixed with Testors acrylic thinners so it could be airbrushed, here's a Tamiya Cooper S I built last year .....
  3. Your building a Mini Cooper, the photo above is a Cooper S, only the Cooper S made from 1966 had the twin fuel tanks, the Cooper and all other Mini's had to make do with just the single tanks .... Your resin spare wheel and tyre will be in the post on Friday, when I make it to the Post Office .... Great work your doing on this little Mini, I'm looking forward to seeing more of the build.

  20. Already have, http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=71759&hl=%2Bfujimi+%2Bporsche and this one needs to make a re-appearance on my bench, it was put on hold while I was building for magazines and other commission work http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=73464&hl=%2Bfujimi+%2Bporsche
  21. They were actually the rear lamp from the "Monte carlo" Mini kit, the mounting pin was cut off as it was too thick to go through the front grill, I then drilled a hole through the middle and fixed in a small diameter brass pin, which was the correct size to go through the grille bars, a dab of 90 second clear epoxy makes sure there never going to move.
  22. That's some nice detail work on that one, the decals look a nightmare to get right .....
  23. Thank you, I do enjoy building the Tamiya Mini, this is the 8th Tamiya Mini I've built now
  24. Thanks, I'll be sorry to see this one go, as I haven't built a Fiesta Yellow Cooper S for myself, I e emailed the photos over to the customer this afternoon, he's over the moon with it, I really hope his Dad enjoys it ...
