  1. If I can shake this flu off, which I've been down with for the last week, the next build to go on the bench will be the Revell Trabant 601, which will be painted in Trabant Champagne (Brown !), after that I'm really not sure what will be next ....
  2. Nice looking model, these Tamiya kits are still a good kit to put together ....
  3. I've had one of those for a few years now great bit of kit and it means I can spray in the hobby room and not the garage, a bonus in the winter months ....
  4. Very nice build, I've had this one in my stash for a few years, I really need to get round to building another truck soon .....
  5. Yes, that was to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the wall coming down,
  6. First thing I do is the prep' and paint the body and all other body colour parts, then sort out all the other parts that need to be painted the same colour, these are then mounted on wooden cocktail sticks or clamps usually where the part will be mounted and painted in batches, once the body is painted I usually work on the engine then chassis and finally the interior, the glass is usually the last pieces I touch.
  7. Very nice build, I keep thinking of getting the Dart kit after building the Charger ...
  8. Coming out very soon from Revell, to celebrate the fall of the Berlin wall 25 years ago, no photo's of the actual car on the Revell site, but I have photo's of the real thing http://www.revell.de/en/products/model-building/cars/young-oldtimer/id/02014.html

  13. I've already got one of these in the "Stash", but it was on eBay for £14.00 ($22.00) "Buy it Now", so I just couldn't refuse .....
  14. Beautiful build, I'd love to get hold of some of these Johan models
  15. Thank you hopefully the convertible version I've got to build will turn out as nice as this one
  16. Thanks, I must admit I do like my paintwork as shiny as possible, the automotive acrylic I used didn't need much wet sanding and polishing to bring the shine out of it.
  17. You'll enjoy building it, it's a great kit to put together
  18. Looking good look forward to seeing it progress ...
  19. Very tidy build, I have both of the Amt Gremlin kits to build one day ...
  20. I'll take some when I take some better photos of it, with a better background
  21. I built it with the wheel on the left, there is another dash in the kit to build it as a R/H/D
  22. Now finished and posted in the "Under Glass" section .....
  23. Built this pretty much out the box, apart from stripping the chrome off the wheel and painting them silver with the hubcaps picked out with bmf, paintwork is VW Brilliant orange, I built it as a 70's 1200A model,
  24. They are Harry, a lot of German cars around the time had them, here they are on an 1937-39 Opel Admiral, although someone has retro fitted some smaller ones at the front.
  25. It was the Hillman Avenger up until 1976 when Chrysler took control of the Rootes group, (Chrysler had a stake in Rootes since the early 60's,) after the take over in 1976 it was rebadged as a Chrysler, it then became a Talbot Avenger when Chrysler U.k when bust and sold out to the French PSA group.
