  1. Then they should name it a Chargit. ?
  2. Purr……..fect paint jobs are something I have yet to achieve.
  3. Personally, I think they should have thought up a new name for it.…or maybe re-use Polara or Monaco.?
  4. Cool!? I’ve always liked watching them. The slow motion video sure is fascinating.
  5. Jobs it seems is one of them four letter words.
  6. Amazon seller!? I ordered a gallon of cleaner wax for my 5th wheel. I received a completely different type of wax. I contacted the seller and they said Sorry…we’ll give you a refund and you can keep the product. Bonus!?? So I check my Visa account to see if the refund went through and find ANOTHER charge for the original amount. I messaged them again and am still awaiting a response.?
  7. Axe me as many times as you want…I ain’t no stoolie.
  8. Try to finish one model before starting another.?
  9. These look pretty close? https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/194145-49-mercury-tangerine-dream/
  10. I have used .015x.020 strip and .010x.030 strip for the roof top seams. And .030” half round for chrome moldings. You can sand down the .030 for a flatter contour. I just use a flat clear over gloss black sprayed from a distance as a final finish.
  11. Yeah, I kinda want to keep it even though that is what identifies it as a T-Bird roof.? It’s just that I happen to have a couple of Viper engines.? I am just going to lower the back end of the roof a bit and see how it looks. Only one of these two are going on to be finished…so we’ll see what they look like after primer.?
  12. So you think a Viper motor would be too much?? I can’t shorten the door unless I lose the side trim and I don’t want to do that.? I could lose the opera windows and shave the B (C?) pillar some in order to move the roof forward some.?
  13. Thanks Guys.? I’m going to play with it a bit more to see if I can get it looking better.
  14. Nice detailing on the engine Bob.?
  15. The 2000GT is a completely different car from the S800, although the front end has some similarities. S800: 2000GT:
  16. I have a second parts Nomad, so I’ve been exploring another option. Thoughts anyone? I wasn’t kidding about the T-Bird roof Jim.?
  17. Conceive a plan before going off half-cocked.
  18. Yeah, if one didn’t know better, you would swear it was 1/32 scale….but it’s not. Now I’m itching to build it.?
  19. I agree. Unless you have a fair bit of experience airbrushing, Mr.Color or Tamiya lacquers or acrylics are much easier to use. Or even Vallejo Air. JMO.
  20. Know the facts before posting.
  21. Looks great Len!?
  22. Did you ever finish this one Tom? I just picked up a complete kit for $15 at a flea market.?
  23. Oops, can’t read the box in the photo.? It is a Fujimi Toyota Sports 800. I didn’t know of the cars existence till today. And it looks to be complete and unstarted except for a couple parts taken off the trees.? Cool little video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQiybrmwHyA Here it is next to a Mazda MX-5. They are both 1/24 scale.
  24. Buy some more model kits the wife said to me in my dream.
