I traded an AMT ‘21 Bronco for this today. Then I went to a flea market and picked this up for $5. It had a complete built Gran Torino in the box with it, so I figured I couldn’t go wrong?? Unfortunately, the glass for the Barracuda is missing along with the #17 tail light center piece.?

Nice start Bob, stance looks good. Any of those engines would look great in there. -

Nice work on the tubs Stuart. I imagine the ‘65 was based on the same tooling as the ‘66 and I had trouble getting the floorpan to sit up tight to the firewall. Also the windshield doesn’t have nice locating points. Just a heads up.? -

Those vent windows on the Nova work beautifully for keeping you cool…as long as you’re moving at more than a crawl.? -
Town cars I don’t find all that attractive.

Here is some info on manifolds. I posted it in the general section, but it may be more helpful here. https://www.motortrend.com/how-to/1048srp-ford-flathead-intake-manifold-collection/

Nice! I have a desk in the basement that I do most of my work on. I have a heated & air conditioned garage too. I could move everything out there, but the wife would probably stop feeding me then.? I really should get myself this t-shirt.? -

Both cars look to be relatively rust free. Due to the age of both cars, this should be verified by a thorough inspection. The Lincoln will be a more comfy ride. The Nova will be more economical all around…insurance, fuel economy, maintenance and repairs. Chevys had pretty good heaters, so either one should be a good winter vehicle with a good set of tires. -
YooToob can be an excellent source of information, but you have to weed out the idiots who are seeking fame without an ounce of intelligence on the subject.

Yes, but assuming you can find the color you want, you can step outside with a spray can, spray your parts and go back inside.
-
Absolutely!? If you don’t live in a condo or apartment an airbrush is one of the biggest step ups you can take.
