Hoonitruck Ford F150
MarcelT4 replied to MarcelT4's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Thank you very much. I had no intention of selling these files. It is very hard work to create them and has already taken 2 months. There is no body, no engine and also other parts that can be taken from the kit are not included as 3D files. My models are all supposed to be unique, but I think they will remain so anyway. Maybe I will reconsider and offer them for sale on a platform (cgtrader, 3dexport etc.).- 67 replies

Small update. Since pretty much everything is visible at the rear, I've started to create various things. I'm not quite sure what these small containers are supposed to be, but it's easy to see. Close-up of the rear radiator. Another tank and of course the tank filler neck with the corresponding cap.- 67 replies

Hello everyone, I have taken out the interior again. The gearshift and handbrake have been added. The part is quite delicate. Here with the A-board from a different perspective. It will continue soon, but it takes a little longer to create these small parts.- 67 replies

Hello, here we go... I have designed and printed the interior tub. Here it is already in the body with a test fit. A look at the rear chassis. Then I finished the dashboard. And part of the engine is also printed. That's it again for now.- 67 replies

First of all, many thanks for your help. The engine on cults3d is not bad. But I got a kit from the Ford GT and will take the engine block from that. I had the same idea to take the gearbox from the Mustang. I will attach this to the Ecoboost from the GT. I will print the other parts and adapt them to it as well.- 67 replies

Thank you very much. Would you have a link to the engine on Cults3D? There are no 3D files for the gearbox either. I haven't even found any pictures of it.- 67 replies

Hello, things are progressing slowly. Some parts have been created and a few printed. I made a few compromises with the frame. Especially in the middle, where the interior will be printed, because I couldn't find any pictures. I'm printing the rear frame again, because it printed a few errors in the connection to the front frame. But things are progressing slowly. I hope you stick with it.- 67 replies

Hello everyone, today there is no news, because I first have to create almost all parts on the PC. Then there is the fact that I can't find anything about the engine and the gearbox anywhere. So technical drawings or similar. Also of the chassis, underbody and suspensions there are not really good pictures. Will then probably allow the hood and have to improvise with the underbody.- 67 replies

Hi guys, today it goes a little bit further. The body was robbed of the engine compartment, side moldings and lower trim. The hood side panels are now in place as well. The rear side panels are now both shrunk to proper length. Here is a front fender flare. Then I 3D printed the new front grill. Which grill do you like better?- 67 replies

Hello everyone, now the time has come. After a long search, I have found a suitable kit to realize the Hoonitruck. The kit, of which again only a few parts are used. The hood is already marked. The outer pieces will go to the body and the middle part will be for opening. Then I already made a rear side part to the right length. That was the beginning, a lot will be done by 3D printing. Stay tuned.

Yes, this building is meant to be a tribute to Ken Block. I will try to paint the figure. There will also be something else to it. But more about that later.
-
Hello all. Here it is now, it is finished. Once together, the car and its creator / driver. But whether I paint the figure, I do not know. Do not really dare me to something like that.
-
Small update. Tried to get the hoses done. Painted the rims. A few small parts. Then tried to carbonize the bumpers. Not really perfect, but I can't get it any better.
-
Thank you very much. If I could now somehow get further with the engine, then everything would be perfect. But unfortunately I can't find any pictures where you can see how the motor is wired and where all the hoses are connected.
-
Today I'm going a little further. First test. The engine. The front all wheel components. The dash got some color. Interior too. Now I stand before riddles. I've been searching my fingers off for the wiring/hosing. Also, I can't find anything where the hoses/cables go from the red/black part at the front of the engine. Maybe you can help?
