Still got some plumin to do. Wheels and tires are scenes unlimited. Haven't decided on colors yet. Comments welcomed. Thanks for lookin.

  4. Got some more done on my diorama pieces. Painted tool boxes and cherry picker. Made what is supposed to resemble a bench grinder. How many garages have we bean in that had a grinder mounted on a post welded to a car rim for the base? Still working on some other things to throw in the mix. the nova is a 15 year old build of one of my oldest Bro's buddies 1:1 from back in the early 70s. I have allot of fond memories of watching him and his high school pals wrenching on cars. Well thanks for lookin.
  5. So, the wife got me this kit a couple of years ago. Thought I would take a break from auto building and try my hand, and mind at a diorama. The engine hoist and tool boxes are scratch built. Going to build a pair of ramps , an air hose real, just kind see where it takes me. Made my guys arms movable. As always input and comments welcomed.

  12. Got the coupe painted. Really diggin the flat black. Gotta chrome the pipes. Doing the interior two tone brown with black piping on the seat and door panels. (pics to come). As always feel free to comment. Thanks
  13. I knew it wasn't going to be an easy or cheap find. That's why I told her, she might better let him buy an older chevelle, then have me build one of that. Glad she's got a sense of humor.?
  14. It is.
  15. Well, on the second set I actually used styrene tube. Then used pro weld to glue them. While styrene is still soft I shape it to the tubes with an awl. Then sand.
  16. Anyone know if there are any of these in resin out there? Was asked by a friends wife if I could build one of her hubbies 1:1. Trying to find one. Thanks
  17. So got back to the 5 window. Didn't care for the first headers I built for it, so I built another set. Think they look better than the first ones. Having a warm up so hope to get it in primer. First set on the left. Second set right. Feel free to give input.
  18. Thanks I have pretty good luck with the rustoleum paints. Let it cure for 4-5 days, hit it with some 2000 grit and buff it.
  19. Thank's all.
  20. Finished the Roadrunner. Was a quick build. Got the model from ebay. No engine, wheels or tires. The wheels and tires are from the elcomino 3in1 kit. Engine is a 440 six pack from the parts box. Paint is Rustoleum apple red. AS always comments welcome. Thanks for lookin.
