  1. I went back and bought the kits with the resin bodies. I'll post a photo of them later.
  2. Yes. I figured it out. I think the majority of an engine is there. And the side pipes. The Trans Am is a FunDimensions 1979 Trans Am Promo kit car.The Ford Galaxie is in the soaker tank as the paint was really bad. See the paint will come off. Update. The paint came off the Ford.
  3. I was at a flea market this past weekend and there a bunch of models. 70 or so kits. I noticed that some kits had 2 or 3 pale yellow bodies in them and they were resins. Like a 1958 Chevy Impala kit had a light yellow resin sedan delivery body in it. Did certain resin manufacturers tint their resin to distinguish their bodies from other manufacturers?
  4. Picked this stuff up today. Galaxy must be old because it’s 2 metal axels and the plastic body is white. Not red or green plastic. The truck has had some stuff started but done well. They came as a package deal so I don’t know about the truck.
  5. Looks perfect!
  6. Thank you Mario, Anthony, Mike, and Robert.
  7. I just read in a forum that one person used an iron to put the box back into shape. I have some Monogram kits that the boxes are crinkled from age. So I'm going to try it. First with out the steam and then with the steam to see how it works.
  8. Thank you James and Chris.
  9. I thought of you Carl when I saw this.
  10. Thank you Steve, Hector and Keith.
  11. I don't know if I saw this video in this forum or where but felt it would be worth posting here for people with no way to exhaust the paint fumes outside. I haven't tried it myself.
  12. Thank you Tom, Michelle, L M, David, Donato, Bob, Chris, Rich, Garry, Jack, David, Paul, Etc and Larry.
  13. Thank you Micelle, David, Garry, Steve, Eric, and Larry. I tried to foil the side chrome stripe but my eyes didn't want to agree with that decision LOL! When I try to foil I can't distinguish the tip of the blade and the foil unless it's a big chrome section like on the 64 Mercury I recently built. I've tried different lights but the blade and knife reflect back to mean the really fine stuff.
  14. Just finished this today. Lindberg 1964 Dodge 330 2 door sedan. Plain Jane all the way except for the whitewalls.
  15. Should it have been on the passenger side? It is a nice kit Eric. I don't know if the newer release had whitewalls or no. This kit didn't. I've had this kit 15 years or so.
  16. Thank you Andy, Eric, Glen and David. Exterior is Sea Mist and the interior is Turquoise.
  17. Finished today.
  18. Both are really nice. Now you need a car trailer.
  19. Very nice.
  20. Thank you L M and John. The garage is just a funky piece to take photos in. Nothing is to scale.
  21. Thank you Mike.
  22. Really beautiful Mike.
