The Ratchet Strap is from Highlight Model studio. I finished this one recently. Custom decals, Zman Wheels, MCG disc brake rotors, wired engine, weathered and wash with various Vallejo paints

Here’s another 50 Chevy I finished. I used nascar chassis components on the stock frame. V8 engine from the 65 Chevy stepside kit. Custom aluminum drive shaft, custom tilt hood, aluminum steering column, aluminum air cleaner, BMF on bed rails, wired distributor. Hand painted door logos, Vallejo paints. Hope you like it.

Looks awesome as usual. Well done my friend! -
Tom- your right after the doors song off the Morrison Hotel album. She lived on hill her daddy died, left her no will... to modify the foose frame to fit the 50 Chevy it requires a lot of work. Here is a list- I had to move rear axle to center the rear wheel well, modify the mounting points of rear control arms, make running board mounts, graft rear and front bumper brackets, made cab mounts, made bed mounts. I kept track of my time. I don’t know why I did keep track I have never done that before but, I had 9 hours on the frame conversion. I had 63 hours on the whole build. I had to do a couple things twice on the frame to get it aligned correctly. It was worth it but I did the same frame with nascar suspension and it was a much simpler process. Hope this helps. If you go to my page on Facebook at dentside model car garage. I have shared a video post from another building explaining the steps to convert the foose frame to the 50 FORD F1 pickup. It looks easier.

Very nicely done. I love the colors and your build makes me wanna build one now. Lot of those trucks running around here back in the 90’s. Great job! -

very nice. Good job. -
Thank you all for all the super nice and encouraging comments. I’m glad so many of you all can relate to this build. I went high school with a bunch of these guys! Ha ha Druthers was one of only two fast foods we had here back in the day. I kinda miss it too. The Spit cut is drivers side cup..the one with no lid or straw...there’s a small dip and some spit in the cup. Levi Garrett was equally popular around here but the Redman logo is so much more recognizable I had to use it..the gas cap rag was pretty much as common as was the “wash me”
