  1. I'm telling ya. The factory, and Prodrive, are the only ones to make Ferraris run. ###### LIZARDS Yeah, I know... Porsche can beat them on the short tracks, but they have their work cut out for them at du Mans.
  2. They will all have to beat the Porsche RS Spyder. whooowhoo. Porsche wins again, and those ###### Lizards...
  3. not much to it. more of an adapter plate.
  4. I would say. RHD and the sign is in english.
  5. its a Chrysler product probably my weakest subject.
  6. This is kind of cool, but what is it?
  7. I've seen that grill before, just can't place it at the moment. Good job on the Asp.
  8. I just got an email back saying that they had Badger parts back ordered also. Dixie also has them listed as back ordered. and this is the message from Bear Air DUE TO CURRENT EXTENDED LEAD TIMES FROM BADGER AIR-BRUSH CO., BEARAIR IS EXPERIENCING LONGER THAN NORMAL LEAD TIMES ON SOME BADGER AIRBRUSH ITEMS. ONLY ITEMS THAT ARE IN STOCK ARE SHOWN. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND INVITE YOU TO CHECK OUR OTHER QUALITY AIRBRUSH PRODUCTS.

    993 AD CAR

scratch built a oil filler neck and cap
  10. Okay cartoon cars are not allowed they have to be real
  11. ding ding ding we have a winner. This one is actaully a Healey-Jamacian with a 327 SBC. BTW Fiberfab is still around building cars and other assorted fiberglass goodies. I don't see the girls too much anymore.
  12. Hey that's a good idea. On the real cars there isn't much to it. Just a couple bars that hold a upright pin that the door slide onto for quick removal. I'd just bend up some brass rod to mount to the car chassis and a couple reciever tubes on the doors similar to what has been shown here.
  13. I wish I knew what the wedgie thing was. Some obscure prototype that apparently only two people in the world know of. We still have mine, too. That nobody will ever get either.
  14. Yup, I was two Michaels (both were very limited on any AB parts), two Hobby Lobby's (very well stocked on Iwata), two different LHS (also very well stocked on Iwata), and an art supply house (virtually every part and brush Iwata makes), and only came up with a few parts. Not enough to repair either brush. Nobody had fine needles and I could only find a Med for the 200 and a Heavy for the 150. No heads complete, which is about a $15 part as an assm and $40 buy each part individually. All the online stores I checked had needles in particular on back order. I will keep looking, I would hate to throw my Badger brushes away. Hopefully I can find parts for them and get them going again.
  15. First impressions on the new brush. Fantastic. The Iwata Eclipes HP-BCS is just the way I remember it. Smooth and easy to use. a Quick comparison. The Iwata is heavier and a little longer than the Badger. The Iwata is a lot more sensitive on the trigger. The Iwata with the 5 needle and head doesn't go as fine as the Fine Badger; however there is an 3.5 head and needle that I will be trying in the near future. The Iwata finish is a little finer than the Badger, which was a little more grainy. The Iwata likes the paint a bit thinner. The Iwata cleans a whole lot easier than the Badger. The Iwata spray range with the 5 needle and head is equal to Badgers Med, but will also go heavier than a Badger Heavy wide open. So there is considerable more spray range. You can just feel and see the performance gains from the Iwata over the Badger. Overall, and I have been a long time Badger user, the Iwata is simply a better brush.
  16. I don't think they have quit... yet... but seem to be going through some restructuring. I wrote a letter to them, so maybe there will be some elightenment soon. I have used a Badger 200 and 150 since the early 90s and haven't had any real problems till now.
  17. Hummm their online shopping cart has been disabled. I got a note to them. I guess I will have to wait and see.
  18. I was not aware of them. I might give them a shout. I wouldn't mind having my 200 and 150 as back ups.
  19. I retired my Badger Airbrushes today. Not because I wanted to, but I can no longer find parts for them any more. I have tried 4 online dealers and 7 local dealers and couldn't come up with enough parts to fix even one of my Badger brushes. I even contacted Badger directly and have got no response, and the people I have talked several no ordering parts. However they are on indefinite back order. As much as I liked my Bader brushes I can no longer support them. So I got a Iwata Eclipse, not exactly the one I wanted, but I was expecting to buy a brush today. I have test run an Eclipse before and was pretty pleased with it. I will let you know how the new brush works out.
  20. The closest thing I could even come up with that looked even in the realm of the wedgie was a Sabb Sonett, of which there are a number of prototypes, but I haven't a clue.
  21. It looks like a mini mini van.
  22. I think the Fabia is a late model mini van.
  23. The shape of the Lotus badge is upside down compared to this one. So it's not a Lotus, I think Nick also confirmed that.
  24. I thought it was a Vauxhall, too, he said no, not close. I am now leaning twards Lancia.
