    993 AD CAR

Thanks for your kind words. I am just going to ad A/C lines, plug wires, a sending unit wire, Evergreen strip belts, and plumb the intercooler and call it good. there is still a big empty space under what you can see, but like I said before the intercooler covers most of the engine compartment. This is a 993 GT2 with a slightly larger intercooler, but you get the idea. It is more than what you get in a Tamiya 911 kit. Otherwise a survey of the rest of the kit looks pretty good, I was surpirsed to see the engine cover was actaully hinged already. The only other major sortcoming that I have come across so far is there is no backs to the front seats, but some sheet stock will take car of that. I will be posting more when I get the engine finished up: Paint the airbox, WP assm, wire it and final fit the intercooler.
  3. Not a cheetah either, it's no big cats.
  4. It's not GM, but is powered by a SBC.
  5. Same thing I think, I am not sure Kieft had specific designations. It's the car that ran in the small displacement class at LeMans and 12hrs of Sebring 1955.

  7. Okay the red thing is a Kieft Sport, and it's British.
  8. You're warm, but it's not based off a Spitfire chassis and it's not a one off.
  9. Sure looks like a TD. Now there was a Caribbean company that built British cars IIRC.
  10. Yup hot water, I get the tea kettle out and boil some water. When it's whistling I pour it over the body in little doses at a time. The trick is holding it while it cools. Otherwise it just stays warpped or warpes worse. You need to hold it a little further opposite of the warp because you will get some spring back. You just have to play with it until it springs back into the corrected shape.
  11. I don't Think it's a Morgan, it looks more like a TD. Try this on for size.
  12. Looks like an ACE derivative.
  13. Yeah, I been trying to decipher the badge, too. I kind of thought it might have been a Lotus also, but nope.

did a little work to fluff up this semi-curbside engine. The guys over at Italeri only put four lugs on the dist cap. I have a few more things but not much since the intercooler and AC condensor covers most of the engine compartment.

  16. Here we go again. it was 78 an hour ago and it's 63 now and falling fast. Expecting snow soon.

  18. Revell 308 GTS Monogram Mustang GTP
  19. but it looks like a Triumph Gt6/Chevron BR-8 GT
  20. Yeah, I usually catch the tail of one just before the Grand Prix; however, last time we were graced with a GP2 race before the F1 race.
  21. I don't know all those weird British things.
  22. No, it is thee 1 of 1 factory build 4 door 928 that was given to Dr. Porsche for his birthday. He, Dr. Porsche, didn't find it too amusing, though. I am not sure what happened to it. These are from several years ago when my brother was shopping the car around for a buyer.
