Thanks when I got it the vinyl roof was painted white it had a white gts stripe and the body was a dark green and the interior was two tone green and white

identified as a crossfield class cause of the saucer the ncc-1279 is a klingon federation mercenary built starship designed as false flag to restart the klingon and federation war of 2256-2257 in 2260 spock and several other crew members steal the enterprise to go rescue a friend and a crewmember and end up stopping this plot in the first episode of star trek strange new worlds season 2 called the broken circle I had to tear apart 3 different star trek ship models to build this ship it is 13 inches long I used putty to fill in gaps and smooth the joining seems of some of the parts i have a piano cover of the Star Trek strange new worlds theme playing in the background of the video

this was a built up I got in a trade with a friend I took it apart and repainted the the body and hood and interior and few other parts but left the engine chassis alone I left the vinyl roof intact but repainted it I had a couple sets of 69 dart gts decal sheets so was able to use one of the stripes on it I repainted the body testors extreme lacquer purple-licious i have a song that came out in 69 playing in the background of the video

Thank you I would have had a Elton song played in the background but I figured much like with the Beatles and John Lennon song being fully blocked on YouTube Elton’s music would be fully blocked on YouTube also the other 80’s music I like would not have worked as it is movie theme music

this is the old mpc ertl kit I got in a trade I had a lot of issues with this kit the turbo charged 4 cylinder engine does not fit right in the engine bay or chassis the wheel backs do not fit right on the suspension wheel hookups the chassis does not fit right with the body which also makes the hood not fully sit right with engine if it is aligned to fit better I painted the body two tone orange the lower trim and center of the hood is testors extreme lacquer firey orange and the rest of the body and hood is rust-oleum 2x gloss real orange I hand painted the interior with a paint brush apple barrel multi surface satin classic caramel acrylic craft paint I have a song that came out in 84 playing in the background of the video it is one of the hand full of 80’s songs I like most of which are Elton John songs but the song playing in the video is one of the few that are not his
