  9. this is the new mpc 68 dodge coronet rt convertible kit which I modified into a 69 super bee using monogram 69 super bee grille, hood, taillight panel and stripe decals I had to cut down the monogram parts and decals to make them fit the 68 kit as the monogram kit is 1/24 scale and the mpc kit is 1/25 scale I also used a 440 six pack air cleaner and carbs from the monogram kit which works nicely with the mpc 68 coronet 440 magnum engine with out being cut down I also sanded down the seat details and rescribed new details matching the changes made in 69 I painted the body testors extreme lacquer firey orange I have a song that came out in 69 playing in the background of the video

  16. this is a monogram 70 challenger this was a pain in the neck I had to rebuild the roof then join it back to the body the resin hood was warped on 3 of the 4 corners the modern hemi engine I wanted to use would not fit the model as I did not have any spare 1970 style hemi engines was a mess I could not sand out all the ruff areas I had to use a set of monogram aar Cuda stripes and use a fine tip white paint pen to write r/t at the end of the stripes I painted body testors extreme lacquer fiery orange I painted the rims the side exhaust tips and hood scoop gun metal Grey the grille came from a die-cast hellcat challenger I have a song that came out in 1970 playing in the background of the video

  23. Nice work I watched that movie once on tv in the mid 2000’s one of the cops in it had a 80’s Camaro done up as a cop car which I found interesting which he switched to after his unmarked 68 charger patrol car was destroyed and it had melancholy ending with the main character’s wife dying due to complications after giving birth to their daughter
  24. Thank you and thank you for the tape suggestion i generally use blue painters tape though it does not always give a good seal with the contours of a car body and has bleed when I do a two tone paint job
