this is a rebuild of model I built a while back I took it apart to redo it in a different way I used a engine from my parts box and the blower and hat from the 64 Chevy ll station wagon 3 in 1 kit and a set of rims I took off a plymouth gtx I also redid I did a right hand conversion of the dash and shifter placement i feel the right hand drive dash is most natural looking and logical layout over left hand drive configuration I painted the body a base coat of rust-oleum 2x gloss purple and a light top coat of eastup high performance wheel paint flash wine red gold to give it that color shift look though it kinda turned out more two color tie dye then color shift custom 64 corvette.mp4

Thank you I know they are very rare also since I think they only made like 300 of them which would also explain why they are more sought after and cost more then the rest of the xc falcon line when they go up for auction

I made this aussie ford using a mpc 70 cyclone body and chassis which I cut down and reshaped and a amt 71 mustang hood which I cut apart and reshaped and a amt 71 mustang interior pan and interior parts which I modified the dash to match the xc falcons dash I did a shifter and steering wheel swap with ones from my parts boxes that were closer to what was in a xc cobra the mirrors and front and back bumpers and wheels and exhaust tips also came from my parts boxes I made the rear spoiler using two amt 83 camaro rear spoilers and the grill I made from a amt fast and furious 70 charger grille/front wrap around bumper the rear window louvers are from a Revell 70 torino cobra kit I painted the body rust-oleum 2x gloss white and the stripes I painted rust-oleum 2x gloss brilliant blue the interior I hand painted apple barrel matte jet black acrylic paint and apple barrel matte cobalt blue acrylic paint all the chrome work I hand painted using folkart metallic sterling silver acrylic craft paint using a dead ultra fine tip sharpie I hand made the western Australia license plates the audio playing in the video is from a episode of shannons club tv on the xc falcon 78 ford xc falcon cobra.mp4

i got the i6 engine from a moebius 66 ford f100 flareside kit today now will just have to find a new home for the rest of that kit i also got the i6 engine from the amt 63 chevy ll station wagon 3 in 1 kit as got that also today but i plan on keeping that kit to build using one of the the other engines in the kit

I modified a amt coca cola 1960 ford Ranchero kit I had to curbside it cause I was not able to find a early 60's ford i6 engine as that was all that the early aussie falcons came with I reworked the dash into a right hand drive layout and shaved off the Ranchero logo and name from the body I painted the body rust-oleum 2x flat Grey primer and did a top coat of rust-oleum 2x gloss clear over it as it was the closest color to koala Grey the interior I painted with a Grey acrylic craft paint I hand made the northern territory license plate 1960 xk falcon ute.mp4
