  1. Hi! Lucky to have a few well stocked LHS in the Québec city area. And, the only chain to still carry a minimum of plastic kits is Michael's, but when I write "minimum", I mean 2 or 3 current car kit models, and no more spray paint, alas. The LHS tell us they will replace Tamya's spray line with AK's. We shall see... CT
  2. Thanks Robert! I'm happy with the results, but I must admit I was somehow sad to alter a Vantastic body, which is a very nice kit to begin with. Oh well... CT
  3. Hi Michael! You made great use of a rare kit, and it is true to the spirit of the 1/1 car as we saw it in magazines back then. Bravo! CT
  4. Hi Greg! Thank you, but as I've discovered a long time ago, if you put in WAY too much time at something, it might help offset your lack of talent. Sometimes it works! CT
  5. Hi! I had the remnants of a Revell 41 Willys, and a brand new Testor's Vantastic delivery, and great vintage petrol signs decals I made on my printer. So... Grafted the Willys front and rear fenders on the Vantastic body, changed the windows lenght, saddled everything on the lenghtened Willys frame, and created a mostly scratchbuilt interior, with twin oil tanks on the rear platform. Also fabricated an injection plenum for an old Hemi, and numerous accessories and systems. Phantom vicky rolling stock, Tamya's racing white, polished but not cleared. Italian red interior, Revell and Molotow chrome accents. Hours of fun with styrene! CT
  6. Hi Tom! That airport limo turned hippie-mobile is great! I like your sense of humour! CT
  7. Thank you Sir! I try to broaden my interests every year, but as you can tell, certain genres dominate... CT
  8. Salut Francis! Thanks for your support, it's much appreciated in the coldest part of the winter... To your point: I read the great Willy Nelson's biography, and one of his motto is: "It's much more fun when you don't know what will happen next"... I think he is on to something here LOL. Happy holidays to you and your loved ones! CT
  9. Hi Rex! Thanks for this complete coverage of a superb display of talent and imagination! CT
  10. Hi Glen! Well, you certainly DID slice in 24! Bravo! CT
  11. Hi Greg! Wow, what a group! If I may: what are the wheels on the TBird (nice!), and is the 5W coupe a resin body, or did-you raise the rear fenders in the quarters? It makes for a killer look and stance! CT
  12. Hi! You might try the rolling stock from Mickey Thompson's Challenger (a Revell kit). Used them on a 32 lakester, and unless you want very small diameter tires, it might do. See pic... CT
  13. Hi Bob! Well, that's the exact definition of "having fun with the hobby". Made me smile. Bravo! CT
  14. Thanks Stuart! Happy you enjoyed the show! CT
