thanks Dan, congrats on the brbo win! you really went the extra mile with your build and it turned out great. I've decided to go with american racing wheels and wider tires on the back of this build.

thank you all for the input and ideas. I mocked up the body/ chassis so I could rework the wheel tire combos offsets. It took several hours to get the right look and feel I was looking for. I've been working on the interior also. going after a 70's feel.

thank you Larry!

I got a start on the inner fenders/ firewall/ interior assembly. black carpet and dash with white seats and door panels are the plans.

thanks everyone for the input and comments! these are the wheel/tire combo I may go with. hopefully I can make them work.

turned out great Bill!

chassis work has been started and yes this is a great kit. I misplaced a factory wheel somehow so I might go with mags from the era. has anyone else experienced problems using lacquer paints over swirls in the plastic? the firewall had swirls from the plastic injection process that show up when using lacquer but not enamel. I may have to switch colors and use an enamel.

thanks Carl!

thanks guys for the input. I have never built this kit before but judging from the instructions it appears to be a real nice kit. thinking about burnt sand with a black and white interior.

starting on another kit from the basement stash. I will be building the stock version of this 2 in 1 kit. colors remain undecided at this time. input and c&c are welcome and thanks for looking.

recently finished built out of the box from a kit that's been in the basement stash several years. it is a kit that goes together without problems. paint is krylon white and testors blacks. c&c welcome and thanks for looking.

I got the rear end done today and the mirrors have been mounted so I'm calling this build done. a nice kit to build and I really enjoyed it. no outside pics, we got a snow storm.

thank you David!

thanks for the kind words guys! I got the front grille painted up and installed, leaving the rear and mirrors left to do. I think it's looking better all the time. glad I went with white.
