    I got the stripes put on and the stickers under the hood. that leaves the grille, tail lights and mirrors left to do. this is a very nice kit to build with no issues. thank you all for your input and checking in.

    thanks guys. I like the way white photographs on cars and trucks. I'm a big fan of black also but it photographs terrible.

    with the windows and other trim painted and dry I was able to get the windshield, interior and chassis all put together. starting to look like something. stripes and side marker lights next.

    the body has been painted with krylon white enamel and is dry so I can move on with the build.

    I got the interior finished in flat, semi gloss and gloss blacks. it was then sprayed with a mist of flat clear. started painting on the body parts today.

    I got the exhausts drilled out and mounted that pretty much finished up the chassis. starting in on the interior now. it's going to be basic black.

    you're right about that, under coating was common at one time also.

    I got the chassis painted with the engine and wheels mounted. working on the exhaust.
