It would be extra-nice if the KW Challenge mixer would include the hood-fenders-grill of the KW Alaskan Hauler kit. That would make sense for a mixer. And then the only non-reissued AMT trucks kits left would be the Chevrolet Bison conventional, I believe. But even then, there is still the ERTL vault, with Internationals and farm tractors. Wasnt't there a topic a while ago about a "possible" kit of the "infamous" AMT Garwood garbage truck?

The buildup of that car (the real one) was actually featured in a Walt-Disney movie; "Dad, can I borrow the car?" that is on youtube. The movie last 46:24, but the actual buildup of "The Sand Draggin'" begins at 25:47 until 29:48 and that includes review of a few others of the same serie.

I am comparing the pics of the parts from the original kit as seen earlier in this thread with the pic of the back of the box as seen on the youtube Round2 Jan-2020, and seems we "lost" the roll-cage from the original kit to a new headlights-grill part? The Pintera-esque front-end and hood is gonna be inclulded. This is gonna be a must-buy for me!

What is left to be reissued by AMT (I think!): Chevy Titan COE Chevy Bison conventional GMC Astro COE with turbine engine KW Alaskan Hauler KW Challenge Mixer Then the ERTL kits.

Where did you learn of its reissue? What else are we gonna get? ?

I think that a better idea for a new issue of the AMT 1977 Ford Van would have been a "Denimachine" (google it) as it was also sponsored (?) by Coca-Cola. Or maybe it will be issued later? It only need custom decals.
