  1. There are some very generous guys on this forum for sure. Lookin good pal
  2. No not at all. I just made sure all the crossmembers were clean and was careful how I set them making sure everything was square as I went. For an older moulding the parts had a pretty good fit, was an easy thing to assemble
  3. If this is going to be ANYTHING like the Autocar, this will be an epic build !
  4. Wow , that turned out beautifully …. Lots of work and well thought out and definitely not over or under done. Fabulous result, Gary. What a beauty !
  5. Thanks Steve. And its straight and flat as well. Took a little bit of time and effort but it worked well
  6. Thanks for having a look Tommy and noticing some of the changes, I’m glad my vision came through, I appreciate your comments ..
  7. Thanks. I appreciate that. Thanks for checking it out
  8. Thanks Victor ! I’m glad the vision came through. Thats exactly what I was hoping to achieve. And yes 3dConcepts make some very nice pieces, and really make the difference. Thanks so much for having a look and your kind comments.
  9. Gee , thanks Landon , I appreciate your kind words and for you checking in and having a look.
  10. And I thought it was me andI had done something wrong. Whew. Glad I didn’t mess this up. Hope it will go back to something like it was. I thought it worked well ….
  11. JM , you come up with some really cool ideas. This is one of them …. Your talents abound buddy !
  12. I totally agree, Steve ….. this sure looks good to me as well , its beautiful.
  13. When he does that, Gary , it is an old school square GM style key😉😉
  14. Do I see another Restorod project? Dropped with a huge engine , zoomie headers, chrome rims ………. ?
  15. yeah, I’m going to have to restock as well, seems I use one or two sizes more often than others, I should have thought ahead when I was at your local, last fall. 🙄
  16. Steve, I absolutely agree 100%. As I mentioned, this was not Ford’s finest hour, and it is homely for sure, but lends itself to all sorts of conversions as they must’ve built a couple billion of them over the years, they must’ve been a robust platform , but beauty was not part of the show …. LOL. I hope I can make it shine , thanks for checking in .
  17. Well , here we go again …. Bolts …. The bolts on the inspection plates on Ron’s automatic 🤭are grossly undersized to my old eyes as are the ones on the rear end , so, with that said ….. we have bolts
  18. Man, ............. this is cool
  19. Thanks for those pics Tommy. You are correct about the C series adapting. It did that in spades. The kit is technically a C-600 but I am going to ‘upgrade’ it to an 800 which in this case is mostly just changing the badging. I does have the bucket seat option and the optional automatic transmission but has wedge brakes where as I will try to upgrade to S cam brakes, the Dayton rims will go in favor of optional 5 hole Budds, just a few little details. I do hope I can pull this off in a decent manner. Thanks for checking in and the cool photos.
  20. I hope I can pull it off but with the generosity of Jurgen and Bren this could be a cake walk. Fingers crossed
  21. I may have to call upon you guys for advice and guidance ................ keep me out of trouble...LOL!!!!
