Thanks, Randy. Imm ‘hoping’ that a little weathering will make them pop a little more. That I think will be a bit of a challenge though. And yes that engine is huge and hopefully it will come a little more alive with some weathering as well, I did add some smaller bits to it and hopefully they will show, thanks for checking in , and the kind comments , Randy.

Steve , this is very quickly becoming an Epic build ! The extra scratch work is s tutorial in fine details. And I have to keep reminding myself this is not 1/25 but rather the much smaller 1/32. That is a whole new adventure in what you are accomplishing here. And everything looks to perfect scale. That also is a major feat to some. I hear you on the bolt thing. Once started it’s a bit hard to know where to stop. This build is looking really good and when under a splash of paint and a little weathering it will be a stunner . Love the up dates.

Wow .. what a grand entrance! That is a a stunner, what a beautiful job. The Cat is a dandy. And love where the tractor is going….. this will be great to watch the final results. Hope you post lots of updates, and welcome to the forum.

Oh , dude, you are way ahead of me, I just glue bits of plastic together, you, old buddy DESIGN and MAKE your parts and that is a whole other level.

JM , Steve is right. Your builds move at lightning speed from design to completion and they are getting better and better every time. Your design work and printing progress is gaining a huge knowledge base and you are getting some unique units in your collection. Love the updates as there is always something new to see and learn. Keep going, this is fun.

Brian , you make these mods and fabrication look so easy and that is a true mark of a master craftsman. Outstanding fit … can’t wait for paint. Great update.

That would be cool if you did,Dan. The more the merrier. If you found a spare hour or two now and again …… there are lots of small assemblies that you can putter away at and leave and come back to later …… dip in , the water’s fine 🤭😆

Hey Ron, all my references which aren’t a lot, show the engine as yellow from the International factory. I would suspect replacement engines would be Alpine Green. There is a fully restored example and the engine is yellow as well. So that’s what I went with. Along with a working example in NZ also has a yellow engine. King of the Bolts 🤣🤣They do add a little extra eye candy as it were. Maybe I got carried away a bit ? Lol

Steve, what a fabulous update and build. I love the looks of the rims. As for the visor, I have to agree with the ‘other Steve’ , there are sometimes a gap as he suggests , and for the reasons he mentions, I know the Western Stars we had, moat if not all had a slight gap to let air pass through, so if yours has a slight gap that would not be out of the realm of reality. But I have to say your attention to the details is a pleasure to watch and take note of for my next build of the same kit. Looking forward to your next update

Thanks Steve, I did shoot some yellow on the frame and now the slow challenge starts, trying to figure out hydraulic lines and air. Imm still trying to suss out more info on this truck but good information is quite elusive. Thanks for the kind words, I think taking the extra time to remove the mould lines does make it a kittle keas ‘toy like’.

Another stunning update. The little bits that aren’t perfectly level are more realistic than you think. All of our trucks were bent and twisted after a few rounds of heavy pushing. She looks perfect to my eyes, Brian. A little twist and misalignment is dead on ! Very realistic.

🤭🤣 Not a lot. Have been busy being a sounding board for a fellow who is trying not to throw his truck model against the wall and seems to be losing sleep over a build. I’m sure you know how that kind of stuff goes 😉😎

Cool video , Steve. And he is doing it the old school way , using the ‘clutch’!!! Love it. Done the way it should be. Rest assured, we here , in North America had our share of old shaky rough iron as well back in the day. 😉😆

Excellent job JM ! The 5th wheel mounting plate assembly really caught my eye. That along with the rest of the build turned out really good. Your design skills are tremendous. Love this one.

Thanks , Steve. I built this kit as a kid, and somehow it turned out ‘ok’ and this time I wanted to kick it up a notch, and you're right, the instructions leave a bit to be desired…. And there is a lot of room for ‘interpretation ‘ its not a kit for a little kid. Thanks for the kind words , Steve , still a lot of research to go. It’s going to be a long road
