  1. Yes the M5 latter Stuart, weathered with flat clear testors acrylic with a drop of light gray. Then a brown pastel mud, made of ground pastel with drop of water added. Partially Brushed off when dry with dry paint brush.
  2. Thanks I had a tough time finding a second can of the light sand for small touch ups. Explains why I got the can so cheap. LoL
  3. Tamiya light sand metallic and gloss, MRC's cragar wheels and Goodyear polyglas GT tires, L60-15. Had some difficulty getting front and rear bumpers in deep enough. Otherwise great kit.
  4. I thought it was a song by Donovan for those old enough to remember. Hail Atlantis! Way down below the ocean where I want to be....she may be....
  5. When is the new version of the mis deal Studebaker coming out?
  6. That's the photo etch grill from the mazmanian revell kit, released about 2000.
  7. The hot weather is great for wet coats of Tamiya light sand metallic. To clear or not to clear? I wet sanded between coats with 4000 and higher, then used novus 1 clean and shine, and a little final detail wax applied with moist cloth. If I go with clear coat, will the wax repel it? Interior will be Tamiya flat sand (non metallic), I think, or maybe white seats and doors.
  8. Does this need a clear coat over the base?, Tamiya light sand metallic. Was lightly wet sanded between coats, about 4 or 5.
  9. Anyone have trouble getting the snorkel and snorkel intake to fit?
  10. Nice, does the rear tab on the chassis get glued to the body,or maybe cut it off?
  11. Does the tab on rear of chassis glue to bottom of body? Or cut it off? Instruction is vague.
  12. MLT seems the way to go. thanks ?
  13. How much thinner? Do you use Tamiya thinner retarder?
  14. Good, I can't take the Tamiya spray can odor even wearing a respirator.
  15. Does the Tamiya LP paint smell like their spray can paint?
