  3. Red oxide primer, gray pastel wash, and some metallic gray dry brushing. Distributor was modified to 1949 type and wired. 1936 style windshield. Happy new year.

  5. Basically out of box, with aftermarket wheels and tires. Red oxide primer spray paint followed by a gray pastel wash, followed by a dry brushing with testors magnesium metalizer. Alclad bright silver used for chrome parts. Used a replicas and miniatures of MD distributor as i could not properly fabricate the old style distributor wiring on 32-48 flatheads after numerous attempts. Comments appreciated.

  9. I decided to go with the traditional distributor, a replicas and miniatures of MD.
  10. Thanks, my kit doesn't include the side pipes housing the 4 wires, i will have to fabricate.

  17. Which kit, I recall an Ireland based co put one out?
  18. Anything more tidy than epoxy or CA ? I often use Elmer. Something water based that can be easily cleaned up if you put too much on?

  20. Ipms in Garwood meets the second Friday, let me know if you need more info. Nnl will have its annual show at the Wayne NJ pal in April, after the ipms mosquito con on April 1 at the PAL.
