Be careful of ebayers with very high feedback. A lot of these accounts are bought for big bucks from 'once' reputable sellers, including what's left of their stock. They're bought for the high feedback to convince you they are legit sellers. Easiest way to find out is go to their feedback page and see if they have tons of recent negative feedback. Usually you get something in the post that's completely different to what you bought or the item is slightly broken. The seller offers half refund and bull**its you with the cost of posting it back when you complain. Never accept it cos that's how they make their money, always ask for full refund and don't let them draw the dispute out over weeks hoping the dispute action expires.

Thanks, Chris. It's an acquired taste, I'll give you that, lol. Did you do custom or stock?

Yes, I've learned they rusted really badly. Mag 500's are what I'm putting on this build:)

Cheers for the heads up, Steve. I'll be sure to remember that! Thanks.

Thanks, Claude. That's a fuel test bottle, the kit comes with road testing equipment. The story I like to give it is, it's a concept car going through final testing before production.
-
Thanks, Nigel. I love the design they played with here, a little more tweaking and it would almost look like the '67 Pontiac Catalina.

Bomb away, man, everyone else has!? Nah, I don't mind honestly, I've actually learned a lot about this kit from everyone's input, and seen some awesome pictures too!

Looks amazing. I love these resin kits! How do you go about building these? Do you find a base that fits and scratch build the rest?, or is it a complete resin kit? Would love to do some of these old land yachts but obviously they don't exist on the market or extremely rare.

That's good to know. I only bought the kit cos it was cheap, and these less than inspirational box art kits usually surprise with good detail features.

As is my luck I decided to do the roof again cos I wasn't happy with the texture, it was too smooth. So before I did the right thing and checked to see if the paint I used was still available I went and primered it. No Tuscan Beige at the shop, discontinued! So I decided to go with the other colour combo I like, similar to what Rockford posted on the previous page, metallic green with white roof.

? I've had the odd "compliment" from the Mrs myself regarding time spent on builds. The work put into this really shows, well done! -

That's a very nice build! Attention to detail is spot on, very nice. -
Thanks, Larry.

Good job making it all fit nicely, looks great.

ah, I see. It's the same mould as that square looking '76 Street Custom on the previous page.

Thanks, guys. haha, yeah, the pink is pretty out there! I decided on this colour cos it reminds me of the concept cars of the 50's and 60's that were painted in unusual colours and shown off on the turntables at motor shows.

Thanks, Steve. The stock '76 Torino got me back into modelling. Yeah, the wheels and tyres looked very small for the size of this kit, one of the reasons I changed them on this... and they look cool:D

Thanks, John. I'd love to do one of each custom including the stock, but I'd have so many parts left over it would be a waste. You could actually build another car from the parts left over. You'd only need a body, interior tub and base, as there are x2 parts in the box, glass, dash, hood etc.

The seat looked good, like a ten year old car or there about's. I'd love to do this kit but the amount of BMF puts me off, lol.
