Went to open my laptop and the hinge that holds the screen detached from the plastic backpiece. Had to use needlenose pliers to unfold the hinge so it didn't break the screen. Lovely.

Passed my second interview/background check for a new job in the aerospace industry. A $40k/yr pay increase & low cost of living/zero debt means my stash will probably explode. LOL

Got my '60 F-100's and a few other kits.

Been working on this '32 Ford Model B getting it alive after a few years slumber. Took it for it's first shakedown run this morning.

If your friend decides to get rid of the convertible, I'm a serious cash buyer. Been shopping 55-56 Ford convertibles for a few months now. That is the only body style '55-56 Ford I haven't owned out of the 40+ 5&6 Fords I've owned over the years!

I work in the Aerospace industry. A lot of what I do is classified so I can't go into detail. On the side I still putz around with old Fords for customers, finishing up a Model A Phaeton & about to start working on a '32 Model B Ford. Been messing around with old Fords for 45 years, I don't see that changing anytime soon!

Ordered a couple of these Revell VW T2 kits, they showed up today. Upon initial quick look, it appears it will build into a nice piece.

No, that was all pre existing. It also has a high compression head and downdraft intake and a later model Ford transmission with OD. The current owner bought it in a package deal of the man's entire Model A collection of cars & parts. This Phaeton got a very amateur restoration, lots of corners cut. IT will be interesting to see how it drives and what surprises unfold at that stage. The current owner has not driven it since purchase.

Spent a rainy day here on the east coast of Florida replacing the entire electrical system on a customer's Model A Ford. One of several prewar projects I have lined up for the next few months. Any day working on vintage Fords is a good day!

I'm kinda curious if Ollie's is going to start stocking kits on a semi regular basis. They seem to be getting them in with more regularity. Or they just have a massive backlog of inventory in the warehouse.

Sounds like my local Ollie's. Most of the time the floor help is standing around in the back drinking coffee or pushing empty carts around to look busy!

Hit the Merritt Island, FL store today, none of the kits pictured above were there. They still had some Mach 5, Green Hornet & Big Rig Trailers left from the previous sale. I did get the last '32 Ford Roadster. One can never have too many '32 Ford kits.

It was 68 degrees with a slight breeze! Perfect car show weather. Down here in FL show season is roughly September-April the rest of the year it's too darn hot & humid.

I've read some over on Farcebook that some Ollie's are getting more kits in. My local one in Merritt Island, FL didn't have anything new last week when I went there to pick up some other stuff. It's Ollie's! There is no rhyme or reason LOL

I'm in on the Corvettes and the '61 Ford- a prime case of the box art selling the kit!

Drove past this show yesterday while running errands. Luckily I had my camera with me as it had a nice variety and not the usual overload of Camaros, Novas, chevelles and newer Corvettes.. Lunch at the Tex Mex place afterwards makes for a good way to spend a Saturday morning!

Saw this Porsche Speedster in the parking lot of the local hot dog place. Also saw a super clean 58 Rambler Wagon but wasn't able to get a photo of it.

I watched the ICM new catalog video and it shows 2 Model A Phaetons. Unfortunately, the video is not in English so I don't know what he said! Hopefully they get these to market soon!

Thanks for posting the pics! I'm looking forward to getting a couple of these.
