  1. 2 each of the Ford Pickups for sure!
  2. I shall check the local Ollie's in the morning while I'm out running errands. I wouldn't mind a couple of the Galaxie taxi kits.
  3. It's back to working normally for me now on Chrome and Edge. I'm able to leave likes and switch pages now. It is much appreciated!
  4. The seats are 56-57 & I think the door panels are too. I built one of these kits and wasn't at all impressed by it. But I've spent 25 years restoring 1:1 C1 & C2 Corvettes for a living so my view is skewed! The old Revell '59 multi piece body kit is miles ahead of this kit IMO.
  5. No change on my end. Can't leave likes or go to the next page unless I right click on the page icon and open in a new tab. I'm on Chrome primarily and it does the same thing on Edge. Clearing cache & cookies didn't help either.
  6. Nothing new at the Merritt Island, FL store. Seems like this round of kits is sitting on the shelves longer. Compare the top photo I took Wednesday and the bottom photo I took this morning. I remember when kits would get wiped out in hours, with people filling buggies up with kits. The two missing '62 Bel Air kits are now in my stash. LOL As an aside, has this thread now surpassed the infamous Hobby Lobby thread? "I hope Ollie's gets ____ kit!"
  7. Passed by Ollie's in my travels, nothing new but snagged these two. Figure these will make good weekender kits.
  8. I think this is more old stock. The dates on the kits I picked up are from 2021. It will be interesting to see if anything else gets trotted out before Christmas.
  9. Seems like every Ollie's I visit has stacks of the Mach 5. Are they the new version of the Civil War Cannon kits that would sit for months unsold? LOL
  10. Yep! A couple posts on the Ollie's thread prompted me to check out the local store. Sure enough there were some new kits!
  11. Ollie's haul. May go back Saturday and grab a couple more if any are left.
  12. Hit the Merritt Island, FL Ollie's today. They had the '65 Fairlane & Chevy II gasser on the shelf and the rest of the kits mixed in with the toys on one of those movable display racks they like to use. I grabbed a few & left the others for the resellers!
  13. This is an extremely informative site, so much so I liquidated my collection of paint chip books dating from the 1920s-1980s. The formulas shown on the scanned pages are outdated, but it at the very least gives you an idea of what colors looked like. PPG or Dupont(now Axalta) used to have a website with historical color chips that were scanned but I can no longer find the site. My bookmark is outdated.
  14. Stopped at the Awful Waffle for lunch yesterday. This Beetle was in the parking lot, with Maryland tags, he's a long way from home!
  15. Will have to check the local Ollie's while I'm out & about tomorrow. With any luck they have a few of these "new" kits. Not that I need any more!
  16. My kits that I can't have enough of mimic the real stuff I've owned over the years- Model A Fords, 55-57 Ford passenger cars & wagons, C1 Corvettes Also have a weakness for the AMT '49 Mercs, any of the Revell '32 Fords & of course any old annual that's priced right.
  17. The vintage tin & fiberglass was out in full force today, but only managed to get a couple pics of this Westfalia while out running errands.
  18. My vote for the '62!
  19. Beetle on the Causeway in Satellite Beach, FL and this straight out of the 1980s Corvette complete with bass boat flake paint job in front of Ollie's in Merritt Island, FL earlier.
  20. Here's the two flyers I have. The model car show is new this year, and I'm thinking of entering a few builds since I'll be at the swap anyways.
  21. If you really want to get down a rabbit hole of Ford Motor Company History- read up on the Evangeline, pictured here.
  22. The crossover first appeared on both truck & car versions in 1954, the first year of the Y-Block. 239 in Ford cars & trucks & 256 in the Mercury. The crossover was used anytime a single exhaust system was fitted. There are 2 main versions of single exahust exhaust manilfolds, early & late. The early ones are thinner(1954-1956) and the later ones(1957-64) are wider and actually don't flow too bad. The 50s era Lincoln/heavy truck 279 & 317 used a similar mounted crossover as well. Heavy truck ram horn's exhaust will not fit on passenger cars as it interferes with the suspension.
  23. Here's a few of mine: The first is of my great grandfather and his '26 Chevrolet, the 2nd pic is my grandmother with her '64 Thunderbird the last is the '59 Thunderbird my grandfather bought my grandmother for their 5th wedding anniversary.
  24. There is an exact twin to that car down here in FL. Same color interior as well.
