  1. Got the motor assembled and frame painted this week. Still undecided on the body color, thinking of dark tan for the interior. Need to check around online to see if I can find some ideas.
  2. Imagine wandering around in a wrecking yard back in the day and coming across that
  3. Thanks pal, I was happy with how it turned out.
  4. Welcome to the forum.
  5. Time for my next project, another 1969 Chevrolet, this time it's Revell's 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS. Haven't decided on body and interior color yet, my province is just getting the stay at home order lifted so want to visit the local flea market and see what automotive colors they have in stock. Not much to show yet, just started painting the motor parts.

  7. Thanks pal, appreciate it.
  8. Thank you for the compliments pal I really appreciate it. If you decide to redeem yourself just watch assembling the body to the chassis. I had things start to randomly fall off and the interior tub didn't want to line up. If I didn't walk away it might of joined the airborne division. ?
  9. Thanks pal, thougth the mags looked pretty good as well. Both kit supplied sets of rims weren't molded properly and had chunks out of them on the tree so had to raid the parts box. Getting too much snow here, on day two of a storm that just keeps putting it down.
  10. Thanks pal, came out pretty good for what wasn't an overly great kit. Thank you, appreciate it.
  11. That's one cool story, thanks for sharing it.
  12. Thanks pal, appreciate it.
  13. Here's the boss at my house, looks so amused getting her picture taken.
  14. The kit is finished and has been posted in the under glass section. Thanks everyone who took the time to look or comment.
  15. Finished my latest project a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible. Almost became parts today as it fought me in final assembly with pieces falling off and the kits poor fitting giving me issues. Walked away for awhile and gave it another go and everything went together. Planned on a hockey stick stripe down the side to break up the red, but the kit supplied decals aged too much and they crumbled as I slid them off the backing paper so had to scratch that idea. Overall I had fun building it, even with the assembly issues today. Was a pretty easy and straightforward kit to build.
  16. Nice looking police car.
  17. Thanks pal, I'm happy with how it's turned out. See how I feel after assembly tomorrow lol.
  18. Welcome to the forum.
  19. Got most of the chrome painted today, just a few more places to do. Then to assembly, should be done in a day or two.
  20. The paint sat overnight and looks more red today then orange. Just have to do some detailing and chrome then stick it together.
  21. I had heard that they were considering a Camaro or Mustang for the General Lee. Glad they went with the Charger looks much better to me. Didn't know they planned on a Camaro for Starsky and Hutch, the cars definitely helped make both shows. Thanks for sharing those facts.
  22. The Volare came out really good, great job.
  23. Got the body painted today, bright red almost looks orange. Will see how it looks when it dries.
  24. The Volare is looking really good so far.
