  1. Nice looking Cuda.
  2. Thanks guys for all the ideas, i have a Michael's in my area but it's closed again due to the lockdown here in Ontario for a month. I'll give your suggestions a try when I get back at the model in a few days.
  3. The current bid for the kit was 40 dollars when I last looked and the seller wanted 50 for shipping. I'm sure it's a good kit just not 90 dollars plus good.
  4. Question for the experts out there, the lights on the light bar call for clear red which I don't have. No hobby shops in my area anymore and currently under lockdown here again so not much open. Called a few shops hours away and one had some but said shipping would be 18 dollars which I told him it would be a frosty day in hell before I pay that much shipping for paint. My question is their any way to thin red paint enough and if so how much mixture should I use or just paint it red and be done with it?
  5. I'm hoping to get working on some kits in my stash and some of the ones I got that need restored. Been hoping to build a General Lee as well, might be easier said then done not willing to pay the amount people are wanting on Ebay for a Charger kit plus aftermarket decals. Don't really see it a $100 plus kit myself.
  6. Nice looking build, always thougth DW's Tide ride looked the best compared to Rudd's or Craven's.
  7. Thank you appreciate it, a Mustang in RCMP colors would definitely look good.
  8. Welcome to the forum.
  9. Thanks pal, I had a 95 Caprice ex OPP cruiser that I bought for the interceptor motor to put in my 87 Regal. Almost kept the car for myself, best driving 4 door car I've ever owned. Now that is a cool looking kit, wouldn't mind building myself a 4 door version. I'm pretty sure there is one out there in resin. Disney owning the RCMP copyright, that is odd though they own so much more. Wait till they start buying countries then it will be welcome to the United States brought to you by the Walt Disney Corporation.
  10. Nice clean looking 442.
  11. Welcome to the forum and welcome back to the hobby.
  12. Put the first coat of white on the caprice today, was trying to figure out to go with blue and white or just white as they had both around this time. The interior I'm actually going to keep the grey i sprayed it as it's pretty close to the color I planned on using. Just needs some detailing.
  13. I'm hoping that they are still good after having them that long.
  14. They are very well done decals, and lots of extras too it seems. I was really impressed for a snap kit pal, more to it then any snap kit I've ever built.
  15. Thanks pal, appreciate the comment. It was a fun build and I'd recommend the kit to anyone.
  16. Always wanted to build some OPP cruisers, but never got around to doing them.
  17. Got them from a local hobby shop, he's been closed 10 years now so says how old they are.
  18. Welcome to the forum.
  19. Decided to do something easy as my next project a Chevrolet Caprice Royal Canadian Mounted Police cruiser. Have had the decals for it for about 12 years, but only recently got the kit thanks to a fellow member here. Started with the taxi/fire chief version so definitely had to put some primer to cover that up.
  20. It's coming along good, like the colors you chose for the interior.
  21. Was just bidding on this kit on Ebay until it got out of my price range. Would like to see it reissued as well.
  22. Welcome to the forum.
  23. Nice looking Challenger, that Panther Pink really makes it stand out.
  24. Thanks guys.
