  1. Great job such an iconic paint scheme.
  2. Great looking build, that blue really stands out on it.
  3. Doing some test fitting today and looks like the 440 will fit in there rather nicely just have to remove some of the drive shaft.
  4. Got some paint on the truck last night, liking the color so far and it layed down nicely on the body. I've been having issues with testors spray paint lately coming out like water. Debating on what color to go with the interior, thinking tan or black would go good.
  5. Good job the car looks great, I've heard good things about the Salvinos kits but haven't got myself any yet.
  6. Thanks pal, I'm going with a gloss light blue gonna throw some paint on shortly and should have a few pics tomorrow.
  7. Got the wheels on and chassis finished today. this 440 might be too long not sure yet. Might be one of those don't look underneath builds.
  8. Really like the details on the chassis, looking forward to the finished product.
  9. Decided to build something simple for my next project, decided on MPC's 1978 Dodge D100 pickup. Found a 440 in my parts box I'm thinking of using instead of the kit supplied engine but will see once I have the frame finished just how the 440 fits. Got the wheels and most of the frame painted this morning.
  10. Great job, I'm sure those decals were a nightmare at times.
  11. Thanks for the comments, Dale was my driver too Nacho Z. I switched to Harvick after his death but am finding the current Nascar tougher to watch with the chase and their aero package.
  12. Thanks for the comments, they were fun builds with the exception of the Hurst Olds which was a nightmare to paint.
  13. Thanks for the comments, appreciate it.
  14. Welcome to the forum.
  15. Welcome to the forum.
  16. I read about that a few weeks ago, hopefully doesn't get developed I can't see it being that good. They made 4 tv movies in 1994, they were watchable but nothing overly exciting.
  17. My favorite hands down is Smokey and the Bandit, one movie I hope never gets remade. No chance they can get a cast as good as the original, especially someone like Jackie Gleason.
  18. Finished this one up this morning, built pretty much box stock except for adding the police parts from my parts bin. Had a few paint issues but overall happy with how it came out.
  19. Ordered this 2 weeks ago and UPS was kind enough to deliver it for me this morning. Finished one police car and receive another.
  20. With those prices wish we had Ollie's up here in Canada, local hobby shop closed last year just leaving a Michael's store which has some kits but not a huge selection and rarely has much for paint.
  21. Here is a couple of my better builds since I got back into the hobby. The 69 Cutlass went together pretty smoothly as did the Chevelle which has always been a fun build as I've built a few through the years, the 442 fought we from the beginning and after 3 paint jobs was finally finished.
  22. Great job, car looks really good
  23. Now that is one flawless looking 442.
  24. Thanks for the welcome everyone, Noblng I'm from Ontario.
  25. Finished this one a few months ago, body came from an incomplete Earnhardt Monte Carlo/Grand Prix combo set I picked up from a flea market. Decals are from Mike's Decals, not perfect by any means but really happy with how this one came out.
