  1. Thanks guys, @GZ; The doors were a pain in the derriere, getting them flush took some time and a lot of bending. The front left one is still not perfect, but doable. I never had a problem with the dashboard.
  2. I am working on the Spyder aswell, and if I may blunt; I think these newer Pochers are like a Bburago modelcar that has been magnified on the copier. The detail is sooo poor and no way to be comperable with the over 1,000 piece Classic Pocher kits. Unfortunately I will not be able to buy any of the upgrade-kits, so I will have to do all the detailling myself, however, there is potential in these kits.
  3. Yes, but allow 1 - 2 weeks to let the clear to harden.
  4. I beg to differ. Just look in house; there are FAR more Corolla's and Camry's sold than Prius'es-es Naah, that thing is nothing more than a green hype. But I do give credits to Fujimi, they dare to bring a new mould on the market of a mid-size hatchback and that doesn't happen all that often.
  5. Oh ######, I did screw up, didn't I...Sorry Harry
  6. I don't think it is fair to ask for years on European cars. In Europe, we don't put years to cars. Sometimes, a car runs without ANY modifcations. Example; the Citroen C3 Pluriel, has been in production I believe since 2002, never been changed.
  7. An older build, but since I am updating my website, I still needed to make some decent pictures of previous builds. More will come.
  8. I finished this one yesterday, it was my first resin workpiece and I am not quite satisfied. However, I did learn a lot to work with Resin and gave me some new tricks. The hardest was to make windows from scratch, all 3 rear windows have been made of clear poly. It was quite tricky, but for a first time; I don't think it was all that bad. Although future resin projects needs to look better.
  9. It's been a while since I finished this one, but never got around to make some decent photo's. I finally made some pictures and here they are:
  10. I had a bit of lack of motivation, so I worked on the Speedtruck and the Camaro Nomad. Now they're finished, and found some much needed motivation for this kit, I started working on it again. Mostly I've done is filling and sanding. Basically all of my work on this kit consists of filling, sanding, filling, sanding....etc...etc.. You get the picture. Today's update isn't much different. I added the dashboard, since it had major gaps in the car. And this way I could fill the gaps. I also glued the body to the front-end, but I am so scared it will break again. It is just such a weak point. I might going to glue the windshield in place, so it will hold throughout the handling. I also added some braces for strengthening.
  11. MY bad, it was MR. Model; http://www.mrmodel.com.br/catalog/index.php You can find the mesh in here. *Edit; I can't find it there no more, nor the store that I got them from has them in stock. Sorry 'bout that. Maybe I can find it elsewhere, I keep my eyes open. Or I can start my own business in Mesh haha
  12. Thanks all! I was kind off afraid of the kind of reactions I might've gotten with the Chevy 283 with front-mounted charger in a Deuce. And on top of that, I altered the front end quite a bit. But your reactions are nice to receive. @Jim (&John); A friend of mine works in a factory where they produce egg-crates. For making a egg-crate mould, they use stainless steel mesh in different perforations. I got a couple of scrap-pieces from him and use that now. But also Mr. Modeler has a nice range of mesh-material. &John; Yes, I did made my own headers. I am not really satisfied with them, as I can't make them even enough just yet. I need to work on better consistency. I made them out of Stainless steel tubing, but I am looking for softer material, since it ruins my drills. @Randy; You got my interest @Rodney; Thanks man! it's been a long time since! I will send you a e-mail soon. So we can catch up again.
  13. It is finally done, it started years and years ago with a complete Dan Fink's Speedwagon kit, but over the years all the parts vanished until the fenders, rails and body was left over. From these parts I started a project, mainly scratch or modified existing parts. I am not satisfied, but I do know that I learned a lot and considering this is my first scratch-project, i didn't think it is completely useless.
