  1. And mmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee too.! Or even 1/12 will do for me Am I a bad person now? I ordered my 2 Rommel's at Amazon.com, for 23 bucks, so normal retail. It was helpful, so I also could ship a book or two to my girlfriend for free.
  2. I'm 29 so no nostalgia involved here either, but I've seen the kit on eBay a couple of times and I just wanted, I think it is just so cool. But they were way too expensive, and the stories about wether the molds were destroyed, made me even want them more. And now i can have them, when is the release date for the little people again?
  3. Bridgetown Hobbies has 3 for me on order, I can't wait for Rommel!
  4. This is 1/1, I've seen the truck a few months ago IRL. Makes a heck of a noise
  5. 1) Glueing 2) if necesary that they can move, make or use a adapter. There are some aftermarket ones available and lets you convert between the most kit-maufacturers, but usally I glue them, I don't really see the necessity of have them spinning. I normally never take my modelcars for a spin
  6. Hey! thanks, yeah, things are ok. Very busy with my job ( in debt-consultancy ) and getting my G/F to the Netherlands and get the wedding done. How are you doing now? Thanks for the advice, I did throw Gseeds a pm and now hoping he is willing to send me a message back with some explanation And I need to remember that of the mist coats, I usually do a few mists and then try to cover it, but as I noticed, that makes it too thick. I guess this kind of painting needs a lot of practising. Also, what I am really having difficulty with is making 'boxes' on the car, like a window. Does one use masking-film for that? Since I can't see how one can do that with tape. So far I only have done straight lines, but I also want to make nice panels on it I will try to find a example
  7. I believe this is the kit it used to be, s'66 yes, chevelle, no I know it is a '66, i just keep typing 65
  8. I had this body laying around with a few bits and pieces, and somewhere last week I thought I could use some practice material for my paint-ideas. So I started on the body, laid down primer and mulitcoats of colors. I ended up for my idea with a decent first paintjob, since all my other paintjobs were either solid colors or just bi-color. This one asked more creativity. However, I am not satisfied, i laid down some too thick coats of paint and the worst thing that happend is, that the paint got teared off together with the masking tape, mostly on the hood. Now what I do? Should I continue without doing anything to the damage, should I try to repaint it? Even though I made my own colours, should I repaint it with a completely different color? or should I discard the project? Please give me your opinions
  9. Thanks Marc and Pack Rat, very much appreciate your direct answers! That is what i was thinking too, I just wanted to give it another shot. But Round2 is coming out with lot more goodies, so I will support them with other kits for purchase!
  10. Do you got any pictures of the cone of the Charger and how it fits without any modifications? The old MPC/Amt kits were horrible at the cone-fit.
  11. it is just decided by the amount of nonsense you post on this board (by number of posts in general...)
  12. What is the whole point of just adding fuel to the fire and not explain the story, IMHO you either don't say anything or go the whole nine yards. Don't just add fuel to the fire and point your finger.
  13. There has been a plastic 1/20 kit of the X1/9 too.
  14. I'd rather have seen the Fota leave the F1-circus. Mosley and Ecclestone ruined the whole game. I haven't watched a complete F1 race for years now, I think the last was way before the last championship of Schumacher, I only watch the starts now and then.
  15. Renault 5 GTTurbo? or a Turbo2? quite some difference, I own the GTTurbo, fun car, but it has the engine in the front, rather in the back like the Turbo1 and Turbo2.
  16. Bend is such a weird place Driving from Portland suddenly you leave the trees behind and go into the dessert, keep driving for a few hours and suddenly you are in a big town called Bend. I stayed there for a few nights, but it does have its beauty
  17. Finally I am being able to present a new finsihed project. I used the '40 streetrod kit from AMT, but modified it on a few points, especially the stance, I'll show first a picture of the original: And this is my vision on present0ay streetrod, subtle but still bad ;-)
