  1. Thanks guys so far for voting
  2. It can't always be simple No guess anyone?
  3. So, work is stalling on this little demon a little. I gave the body it's white coat, but weirdly the primer has a hard time staying on the body. So I had to respray it partly today. The fenders are sprayed today in a dark-blue shade, so I hope that will give me the right look. I filled the rear-light thingies in the rear-fenders, for a more sleek look and I finished the interior.
  4. A small overview of my year in modelling, it hasn't the most productive year of modelling been for me, but I did manage to skill myself a little better and the lack of quantity being replaced by quality. IMHO. The 'Cutaway' Porsche 911 Carrera Targa; The Ferrari F40 Competizione Monte Shell; The Volkswagen Transporter Mk. III 'GTI Westfalia; The Chrysler 300C 'Modificato'; The (Not succesful) Pontiac GTO 'The Judge' NASCAR; The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 'Daytona';
  5. I love it Dan! Very clean build. Can you show some of the interior? The only thing I am missing are wires in the engine compartment.
  6. Is there a plot in Le Mans? If so; I missed it 5 times now
  7. No, sorry it isn't It is from one of the new country's in making car's, and the name does say it is kinda 'vulgar'.
  8. dude, please....use a more clear way to type, especially when you use your 'msn'-language, I (as foreigner) really have a problem following you what you say. Read the text before you post, and try to keep it with proper English, it may look al normal to you, but I give up after your first 5-10 words and stop reading further.
  9. Thanks, I will contact you by either PM/E-mail
  10. Hold on, I am going to try to find a new one
  11. Thanks guys! Very much appreciated. I am trying to get a one-of-a-kind look, and I hope I can pull it off. I also have an idea for the paintjob, which is coming back in the interior. The car will get a original livery of the 'Friesche Vlag' (Frisian Flag)-brand from the 40's. So the lower part will be dark-blue, the top will be white and I am thinking of a red line to separate the colors. I have been working a lot in the last couple of days and basically finished up the interior ( I am waiting for PE seatbelts to arrive ) and the engine. Next week I am going to start painting the chassis and the body. So far the hood has been a big pain in the butt, it is very bad. It just doesn't align at all and on top warped. I cut the hinges of and going to make some myself. It is just too bad. I need to get used to the springs on the carberettor a little more, the cost me now about an hour each and I am not satisfied with the result yet. Anyway; let some pictures do some more talking:
  12. Dave, great subject, great build. I love it! I was wondering; how did you made the body? is it just styrene? I couldn't get it out of the text, so I am sorry if you did mentioned it before.
  13. I love it! But so far I can see, the wheels in the back are just a tad to big. And it seems that the body is warped in the back, where the top of the left tire is inside the body. The body is on top of the top of the right-tire.
  14. Congrats Miquel; what a heck of a job must that be! I am jealous And yes, helping those who actual need help and provide a bit of happines; I guess it doesn't get better than that.
  15. Another VW Golf? Or a Passat?
  16. Sorry Mike to disappoint you, but I am not going to make major changes to the outside. I want a clean mild custom, with a different view than usual, hence the BBS ;-)
  17. Thanks for the reply Ken, very much appreciated. A e-mail will be sent
